“Old Creggan’s inn is an absolutely beautiful location facing Loch Fyne and the mountains surrounding the loch. Dinner was delicious and the Loch Fyne mussels are heartily recommended. Sunset from the upstairs guest lounge room is absolutely gorgeous.”
“We stayed only one night therefore my opinion can be partial. The building is old and some parts should probably be renewed (elevator first!) but well kept in general. The room rather small but clean. WiFi is probably underdimensioned as I could not connect despite of the good signal, fortunately personel (all very kind) provided an alternative network. "Because we had a bad experience at the restaurant outside the hotel (the only one working in one-hour driving area) we chose to dine at the hotel. They told us that the chef was alone that night (Saturday) and could take up to one hour to eat something (7:30PM). We had no choice and asked for veggie burgers, but they didn’t have any (again, on Saturday night with tons of tourists around). We ended up eating fries for dinner. To excuse, the staff arranged a small snack before our departure the next day. It was really kind of them but this doesn’t cover the lack of organization for such an important hotel."
