Hotel a Area di Conservazione Mount Roland

“Good location near Cradle Mountain visitor centre. Outdated cabins which were not worth the price paid. Confusing information about drinking water safety in the cabin. One sheet said it was safe to drink but in the cabin a large sign said don’t drink the water. The staff seemed unclear about this. Luckily we had our own water. It was cold and there are heaters and a heated blanket which work well. They don’t have a decent sized pot for cooking- they were either too small or way too big.”

“molto comodo vicino alla citta' direi raccomandabile”

“Great spot for traversing to sights. Nice escape after a busy day walking etc.”

“We stayed in the basic cabin and it was nice but I think they are overselling the luxury aspect a little especially for the price. If you are going in the colder months the source of heat is a gas fireplace which can be trickly to get the room to the right temperature. Also note there is no WIFI in the cabins, I don't think this is a bad thing as it helps connect you to nature a little more but something to keep in mind. The main hotel building has WIFI that works well if you need it.”

“Stupendo posto con solo tre tende … isolate nella natura… con tutti i conforto ed eleganza … con un tocco in più la possibilità di accendere anche il camino …. Merita tantissimo ”

“I travelled alone, for exploring N-Tas. I am driving by my own, so that The hotel location is great, free car parking is included. The single bed room is old but acceptable cleared off of my iiiuclean minimal,”

“Ricordo che è un hotel disperso nel cuore della Tasmania. Difficile fare meglio. Paghi caro ma del resto in Tasmania cos’è che costa poco?”

“Fiona was an engaging and helpful hostess. The accommodation was as anticipated for an historic setting with upstairs rooms. Within walking distance of shopping precinct, including eateries. Ample convenient parking. Excellent breakfast.”

“Awesome! We cannot help but say it out loud the moment we entered the access code and unlatched the door to our well-appointed unit. This waterfront apartment-hotel or aparthotel delivers as its brand name promises - fantastic river views from the comfort and convenience of our room. We stayed overnight in an unbelievably large studio unit with plenty of space to dance ballet, “pirouette en pointe” and “fouetté en tournant”. More importantly, the property is affordable and fully equipped with...

“Absolutely beautiful clean country fresh - accommodation great and host very helpful”

“Absolutely love the accommodation! Cute wooden cottage, spotless, full of character and a full kitchen to stay in and cook. Surrounded by nature we even saw a wallaby outside the balcony ❤️ highly recommended!”

“The room was very nice, overlooking the lovely garden which was great to walk around, lovely flowers and view. Breakfast was amazing, sucks a good variety to choose from, all very fresh ingredients.”

“Just an overnight. Really nice quiet place with helpful owner. Huge room and all in excellent condition. 8 min walk to the pub for dinner and the steam railway called Redwater Creek is only a little further away (check running days). Worth coming back.”

“A lovely place to stay full of character and charm. The host was really helpful and friendly and the location was really convenient as well”

“Excellent motel in the charming township of Sheffield. Close proximity to Cradle Mountain.”

“A fantastic tiny home experience. Cosy, warm and comfortable, we went to sleep with a view of the stars and only the sounds of the wallabies on their nocturnal wanderings. ”
