Vi diamo il benvenuto "ai bambini di nettuno" nel villaggio di Arromanches e 30 metri dal mare in una casa calma e luminosa. Per le tue vacanze, godrai il mare ai tuoi piedi e l'immediata vicinanza dei negozi.

Il nostro spazio di 100 m2 è progettato per una famiglia di massimo 6 persone o per diverse coppie di adulti. La casa dispone di 3 camere da letto ciascuna con bagno privato, tra cui una suite con vista mozzafiato sul mare e sul porto artificiale di Arromanches.

Abbiamo prestato molta attenzione ai dettagli e all'atmosfera di questa casa per le vacanze: attenta decorazione nei toni del bianco e del tortora, cucina americana, ampio soggiorno luminoso, home cinema, stereo, cortile esposto a sud con barbecue, ... e poco più pensato dal proprietario.

The property was great EXCEPT there was no mention of the number of steps you climb to get to the bedrooms. We were all over 70 years of age and had suitcases to get to the bedrooms. The second set of steps leading to the master bedroom are steep and to get to the bathroom (toilette) on the second level was problematic. The area is lovely and the host great at helping us find it (our GPS was close but not accurate. I think they need to include STEPS in the description!

Great views of the ocean, really well equipped home from home with all bedding and towels supplied. Perfectly situated in the town and close to many of the WWII beaches and museums. No parking at the property but within a 10 min walk for free car park.

Schönes Ferienhaus. Lage : In einer Minute am Strand ( bei Ebbe etwas mehr) Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst..... Für französische Verhältnisse ist das Objekt im guten Zustand....Einige Kleinigkeiten haben wir als treue Frankreich Urlauber hinweggelächelt...Mit unserer Vermieterin Nathalie hatten wir keinen Kontakt. Direkt vor dem Grundstück kann man leider nicht parken. Zwei Parkplätze (kostenpflichtig) sind knapp zwei Minuten entfernt. (Direkt um die Ecke) Zwei kostenlose etwa 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß.... Eingang zum Objekt zwischen 2 guten Restaurants. Arromanches ist ein kleines Nest mit genügend gastronomischen Angeboten. Zwei Bäcker in zwei Minuten zu erreichen. Jede Menge Souvenirläden mit D-Day Utensilien. Kleiner Supermarkt etwa 10 Minuten entfernt. Alles andere in Bayeux. Mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten.... Der Strand ist manchmal von Algen und Seetang überspült, da ist der Zugang ins Wasser sowie der Geruch nicht so toll. Aber alles in allem ist Arromanches-les-Bains ein netter Ort! Tagesausflüge nach Honfleur, Etretat sowie auf die Cotentin Halbinsel sind gut möglich.... Auch der Mont - Saint Michel und Saint Malo sind ohne weiteres machbar....(etwa 2h einfache Fahrt).... Toller Strand in Saint-Laurent-sur-mer. Omaha Beach) Für D-Day interessierte eine tolle Gegend. Museen und Artefakte in Hülle und Fülle... Es war ein super Urlaub in einer tollen Gegend !!!Fam. Kühn aus dem Allgäu!!!

It was a perfect location, very private but close to everything in Town. We would definitely stay there again. We were happy to find free parking down the main street. The shop owner by the entrance was very friendly and was happy to answer our questions.

Nice “beachy” home. Must be in good physical condition as there are three flights of stairs. There are two toilet rooms but they are not connected to a bedroom. The top bedroom is one story up from the toilet so it can be challenging to descend during the night. The town is cute and walkable.

Comfortable home with ocean views

Highly recommend the town of Arromanches. The artificial harbor and ocean views are fabulous! It’s a quiet but big enough town to have choices of restaurants and shops. The location of this property in the town is amazing! Views from top floor bedroom are spectacular!We enjoyed this home for four nights, two adults and two kids 10y and 13y. The house is equipped for infants (changing table, crib, gate) but we had no need for those items. The layout of the home is ground floor (toilet and sink), middle floor two bedrooms (shower/sink in one bedroom and tub/sink in other) toilet in hallway, top floor bedroom (shower and sink). We stayed in June and the top floor was much hotter than the middle due to the gorgeous skylights that also let in heat. I preferred being near the toilet and on a cooler floor so we did not use the top floor bed. But did prefer that shower. The home is nicely updated. Showers and kitchen are nice and very functional. We also enjoyed the courtyard area, which feels very private. And used the laundry which was excellent, separate washer and dryer. The house was easy to locate with Nathalie’s instructions and she was available for any questions. We loved our stay!

Would work well for family w baby or toddler

The top floor bedroom is by far the nicest part of this apartment: lovely skylights with view of the ocean and a very comfortable kind sized bed. There’s also a nice folding grab and a changing table for a baby. Note that there’s no toilet for this bedroom, though. However, overall property has a rather sad, shabby vibe. We felt that that more attention given to routine maintenance and a general freshening up (including the courtyard and the laundry room) would make it a lovely place to stay.

Adorable home!

Adorable home! Well stocked except no laundry detergent- a small but necessary convenience i believe the host should supply especially when the town is barely open to find it ourselves. Natalie originally told us we could check out early afternoon but sent us a message at 10pm the night before removing the late check out. We were lucky enough to get the message before we went to sleep but it was very inconvenient timing.

Great location

Perfect location for visiting the Normandie coast sites. Beach is visible - mere steps away shops and museums walkable. Quiet neighborhood (at least in the off season). Comfortable beds. I would not describe as luxury but the price per night is fair for the condition of the accommodations. Would stay again.

Cold rainy and beautiful

Great location, wonderful loved home. Hostess was thoughtful. Just a few ideas…. we went in January the whole town was closed. So if you go that time of year in the off season make sure you have car. Bayuex is a 20 minute drive.

November at the Beach

The town was a ghost town with a majority of the commerce and many homes shut for the season. But that meant no lines at the few places that were open. Our visit’s focus was the D Day history and we found those areas open and welcoming.

Arromanches,

We originally had a hard time finding the place but host was gracious and kind and helped us. We went in November and lots of things were closed nearby but it is a fabulous property.
