Vicino alla cabina si trova in posizione centrale tra Montreat e Black Mountain, a ca. 1/2 miglio in auto a entrambi.
La cabina è una casa di tronchi di cedro costruita su misura che offre privacy e comodità. In questa proprietà di montagna ti sentirai a miglia di distanza ma sei praticamente in città! Un vialetto lastricato conduce a questa località di montagna! Il parcheggio di "ghiaia" di ampio livello può ospitare comodamente 4 veicoli.

Questa struttura per vacanze offre splendide aree interne ed esterne per rilassarsi e divertirsi, tra cui due ponti, patio con lastricato personalizzato e un'area picnic all'aperto con camino in pietra. Legna spaccata fornita per il camino esterno.

La casa dispone di camere spaziose, open space, costruzione con travi a vista, soffitti alti, grandi finestre panoramiche, 4 porte francesi, camino a gas e aria centrale, che lo rendono il luogo di vacanza perfetto. Goditi Wi-Fi e satellite, camere da letto dotate di TV

    I letti possono ospitare comodamente 6 persone. Biancheria fornita. Nuovissimo fornello, lavatrice e asciugatrice. Cucina completamente attrezzata con macchina per il caffè, Keurig, frullatore e stoviglie / utensili necessari per cucinare e cuocere al forno. Servizio per 8.

TV via cavo e a schermo piatto in camere da letto matrimoniali e king size, nonché in soggiorno. TV con lettore DVD / VHS in camera doppia con ampia videoteca per bambini. Wi-Fi è anche fornito.

Divertiti con tanti puzzle e giochi da tavolo. La casa è inoltre fornita di guide per il birdwatching e l'escursionismo, mappe locali e guide di intrattenimento della zona.


L'ampio parcheggio può ospitare 4 veicoli. Ti sentirai a miglia di distanza da tutto, ma sarai comunque vicino alla città. La cabina si trova in posizione centrale tra Montreat (0. 5 mi) e Black mountain (1 mi).

I want to tell everyone that this cabin was just “meh.” But the only reason to do so would be to increase my chances that it is available next time I come to the area. This is a great secluded cabin with ample space and thoughtful and comfortable furnishings. Kind and attentive hosts. The location is perfect for nearby outdoor adventures, foodie exploring, and small town hospitality. 13/10

This is just a great little cottage. Good location, plenty of space for hanging out...close to hiking and good food. We had a great stay, and always happy when hosts have some coffee / filters and spices in the kitchen so that you dont have to buy everything and can cook for a short stay.Would definitely recommend!

The kitchen was beautifully equipped. It had everything we needed. We loved the dishes and the coffee ! Mugs on the outside table watching the sunrise was heaven. The fireplace is cozy, we turned it on briefly, it was very warm. Everything was clean and this old lady enjoyed the swings so so much.

We had a wonderful week at the cabin! The whole house was neat and clean when we arrived; it was very cozy and inviting. The sleeping areas were spacious and the beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. The coffee maker and the Keurig were especially appreciated!The kids loved the swing set and the movie collection. In the evenings it was lovely to put on a movie and work on a puzzle or play one of the board games that were provided. We had wonderful weather and took advantage of the porches and patio table to sit outside and enjoy a meal or a book.It was a perfect location for exploring the town of Black Mountain - and it was close to numerous walking and hiking trails. There was good information in the cabin about local trails - we especially liked the Catawba Falls hike and the trails around Warren Wilson College. The cabin was also a convenient drive to Asheville where we spent a day exploring.We absolutely hope to come back someday. There are still many places we would love to explore in the area and when we do we would choose to stay at this cabin again!

The views were beautiful, cabin was VERY clean, and is just adorable. All appliances work, beds and furniture were super nice. Close to cool shops and great places to eat. We will definitely choose this home again for our vacation needs!

Great, private location. As advertised. Enjoyed the fireplace but didn’t have time for outdoor fire. Well-appointed - incl. puzzles and games - and clean in all the places that mattered. The one twin bed (far side of room) could use a new mattress so it can be more comfortably used by adults. Or better yet, replace it with a double bed so all 3 couples can be comfortable. Appreciated all the provided info on hikes. Should’ve stayed longer so we could’ve explored them. Thanks!

The directions to the cabin were spot on and the location is perfect for Black Mountain, Asheville, and all things WNC. Upon entering the cabin our first impression was the cleanliness of the cabin. This cabin is beautiful! The views are amazing and even though it is near town the place is very peaceful. The hosts communicate almost instantly and are very kind and generous. We are already looking at dates to return to this cabin.

This is our second time staying here and it was another excellent stay! The house is in a great location between Black Mountain and Montreat. Our family enjoyed hiking in Montreat during the morning hours and eating at local restaurants in Black Mountain later in the day. The host was very kind and prompt to respond to our questions. The house was very clean, well decorated, and it had everything we needed. Our family of 5 had plenty of room. We enjoyed using the gas log fireplace. We liked the Christmas tree they had decorated for the holidays. We also appreciated the DVD selection they had and were able to watch one of our favorite Christmas movies. The driveway is steep, but it was no problem. It is paved and well taken care of. We would stay here again in the future.

John and Rachel were great hosts, they communicated frequently and were welcoming. We enjoyed our Thanksgiving here, it was a great area with lots of space in the cabin. We didn’t have any trouble cooking our dinner away from home, the kitchen is well supplied! We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and swings, plus it was also close to town. I recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

The host was quick to respond to any questions I had, and the cabin was absolutely perfect as a true American mountain getaway for a visit Brit. Great views!It would also be great for a family--with a swing set, picnic table, and several outdoor seating areas. Each bedroom was very private, with two of the bedrooms having outdoor patios.They had the Christmas tree decorated and lit for our arrival. Wonderful :)

Cabin was super clean, spotless and cozy. Loved the gas fireplace. If we stayed one more night, we definitely would have had a fire in the fire pit. (Only stayed one night.) The wood was all chopped and ready to go. Plenty of parking. There is a steep driveway which may require special navigating for large, oversized vehicles. I believe our Chevy Silverado 2500 would fit just fine. Inside is comfy, kitchen well stocked and the beds are comfortable. There is a keurig with coffee pods. The hosts are great and the communication is excellent.. They leave a binder full of great information about the area. We went into the town of Black Mountain, plenty of restaurants, breweries, and gas stations.

This cabin was perfect for our family. Very cozy - we loved the fireplace! Place was spotless and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we did not have great weather so could not enjoy the outdoor spaces. The view from the bedrooms was beautiful. And we got to see the mama and 2 baby bears!

Location was perfect! Black Mountain was literally right now the hill and Asheville was a short drive away (as was the Biltmore). The cabin had everything we needed, was super clean, and the hosts were great. We would definitely book this cabin again!
