L'appartamento ristrutturato e dotato di tutti i confort, dall'aria condizionata alla Wi Fi. 2 camere matrimoniali, 2 bagni, 1 camera doppia. Open space con ampio salone, cucina completamente attrezzata e moderna con isola e sgabelli, lavastoviglie, piano cottura e forno. L'appartamento supera i 100 mq, molto spazioso, luminoso e con un terrazzo dal quale si può godere la vista sulla valle Umbra. Si trova a due passi da Assisi raggiungibile a piedi ed è dotato di comodo parcheggio riservato e gratuito. Ottimo punto di partenza per scoprire le bellezze della città e dell'Umbria. A poche centinaia di metri, partono i numerosi sentieri del parco del Monte Subasio per escursioni a piedi ed in bicicletta. Possibilità di garage per biciclette su richiesta

Ho soggiornato nell'appartamento di Angela e Luca, insieme alla mia famiglia (marito, 2 figli 14 e 16 anni, nonni), a fine aprile, nella settimana appena dopo Pasqua. L'appartamento è pulitissimo e dotato di ogni comfort: TV (anche nelle camere), lavastoviglie, lavatrice, biancheria da bagno, letto e cucina. Due bagni, di cui uno con accesso da una delle due camere matrimoniali, il che ha permesso ai nonni di avere quasi un mini-appartamento tutto per loro. Angela è stata gentilissima e prodiga di ogni informazione. Ci ha consigliato ottimi ristoranti dove poter mangiare (La Stalla, La Trattoria degli Umbri) e ci ha fatto assaggiare birra e olio del posto, di cui noi poi abbiamo fatto scorta prima di partire. Vicino a casa c'è un comodo piccolo supermarket ben fornito, dove abbiamo potuto acquistare ottima carne e formaggi locali, oltre che piatti pronti da asporto. L'appartamento si trova a 5 minuti a piedi da Porta dei Cappuccini. In tutto, per raggiungere a piedi il centro di Assisi, impiegavamo circa 15 minuti (20-25 per arrivare fino alla Basilica di San Francesco). E' molto comodo poter lasciare la macchina sotto casa e girare a piedi! Eventualmente, comunque, proprio sotto casa, c'è la fermata del bus che fa il giro di Assisi. Abbiamo visitato anche i dintorni: Santa Maria degli Angeli, Perugia, Gubbio, Spello. Tutte località bellissime e comodamente raggiungibili in auto da casa. Sicuramente consigliamo il soggiorno da Angela Alle Porte di Assisi e speriamo di poterci ritornare presto anche noi!

Appartamento grande, comodo, molto ben ubicato e con tutto ciò che serve. Angela e il marito poi sono cordiali ed accoglienti. Non è facile trovare soluzioni così comode e pratiche. Lo consiglio a tutti, vi troverete benissimo.

Siamo appena rientrati da Assisi. Abbiamo trascorso in questa casa sei giorni e ci siamo trovati molto bene. L'appartamento è perfetto. Dotato di ogni comfort. Angela una padrona di casa attenta e molto disponibile... Ci ha persino preparato un'ottima torta. Il posto è stupendo... Abbiamo visto Assisi anche imbiancata dalla neve. L'Umbria è davvero una terra affascinante e i suoi abitanti gentili e disponibile. Torneremo sicuramente.

Our stay here was simply wonderful! Angela was such a gracious and welcoming host. She warmly greeted us when we arrived and was prompt in making sure we had everything logistically (restaurant recommendations, quickly helping us resolve the wifi when the it had an issue, etc. The house is really nice, spacious and you can tell it's been recently renovated, very clean and had all we needed! So great to have a full kitchen and a washing machine! Peaceful neighborhood with relaxing balcony. We didn't want to leave!
There's no place like Assis!

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath spacious apartment was a lovely modern flat with views of greenery and the valley far below. It is much prettier than photographed! Impeccably maintained, the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and the living room for relaxing. A porch around three sides of the house offers room to sit and enjoy the view. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. There was free parking for one car in front of the unit, which was fairly close to the restricted zone—under half a mile. And a very short walk from the apartment was a full-service grocery store which also had delicious prepared food, and a small cafe. Best of all was the host, Angela, who was outgoing and genuinely interested in helping us to enjoy her apartment and town. A terrific find!

Well located to access Assisi and by rental car access all of Umbria. We stayed 13 nights and enjoyed the apartment. Angela was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations during the whole stay. Would stay again if ever in Umbria.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this quaint apartment. The host was easy to contact and gave us a rundown on all the sites and best places to eat in Assisi. The beds were comfortable. Lots of dining choices and sightseeing all within easy walking distance. Our only complaint is we were a little bit cold. I should have had the host explain the thermostat before he left!

If I could rate rate higher than 5, I would. It started with Angela greeting us warmly and describing the apartment and the city thoroughly - even setting up a tour with a pedi - guide bike host who was amazing! The apartment felt like home - we stayed for 9 days - all the amenities we needed, parking right outside the apartment (big plus) and a grocery within walking distance. We loved this apartment, highly recommend and will stay again if we are ever back in Assisi.

Angela was the best! She had wonderful recommendations and suggestions for us. From places to see, tours to take and restaurants to eat at. We spent 18 days here just enjoying the beautiful weather, the great places to visit and the quiet balcony to just sit, relax and have a glass of wine. Grazie Angela! This apartment was wonderful. There was plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 boys. It was very clean, bright and airy. There is a nice kitchen set up. The bedroom area can be closed off from the living room area. It has a small porch with a wonderful view. It is conveniently located very close to a grocery store. We arrived with 2 cars and there are 2 free parking spaces right at the front door of the apartment. Angela was a welcoming host with plenty of tips and suggestions for getting the most out of our short stay in charming Assisi. We would return to this apartment again and again.

This property was perfect for our stay in Assisi. We loved the family who hosts this property! They were friendly, greeted us upon arrival, responsive, and assisted us during our stay. We made our first visit to Umbria in May 2022, and we are pleased that we could return so soon in life. Assisi is wonderful, and with no major festivities in February we found ourselves in the normal rhythm of the city. We are deeply grateful that we could stay again at this great apartment. As our prior review states, the family lives nearby and the service is flat-out excellent. Still. The apartment feels really large, particularly with all of the sunshine in the kitchen and living areas. As in 2022, the apartment still is spotless: clean tiles in both bathrooms, excellent lighting, comfortable furniture. On this visit in 2023, we rested and enjoyed our mornings relaxing inside in the living room. We love the fabulous terrace. The location is just a short distance from all that we wish to see in Assisi. Plus, right around the corner is a classic Italian bar and a full-service grocery store. In two shopping trips, we easily found all of our foods for breakfast, as well as dinner for one evening. (The grocery store also offers an excellent variety of prepared foods, but the customer needs to arrive early to have a good opportunity for all of the offerings.) We have stayed in several VRBO properties over the past year, and we do not hesitate to state that the pro service at this apartment in Assisi is peerless. We have big smiles for the kindness shared with us. Grazie mille.

The apartment was perfect! It is about a 10 minute walk into the main square in Assisi. The apartment was very comfortable for two couples. The kitchen has everything that you need. The host, Angela is terrific. She was so helpful with restaurant suggestions and things to do and see in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Assisi is an extraordinary city in a region that is full of wonderful places and kind people. We made our first visit to Umbria in May 2022, and we hope that life’s opportunities allow us to return to Assisi. When we do, we hope to stay again at this great apartment. The family lives nearby and the service is flat-out excellent. The apartment is just as described: Brand new--with clean tiles in both bathrooms, excellent lighting, comfortable furniture, a fabulous terrace, and fast and steady WiFi. The apartment’s location suits us, but is a bit tricky to find because its street is one branch of a larger street. Still, the location is good: a short walk to one of the ancient eastern gates of Assisi and, by walking at a leisurely pace, we need less than 30 minutes to arrive in the center of the city. The streets of Assisi go up and down, and wind their ways towards lovely piazze. We were comfortable walking each day back and forth from the apartment, and the city feels safe, but to save time from a day’s travel (say, after returning from Gubbio) we prefer to park and step up quickly in the heart of the city. (We use il Parcheggio Porta Mojano, one of several good garages.) The location is just a short distance from Eremo delle Carceri, and along that road is a fabulous osteria with great foods and wines, as well as a commanding view of the valley. The apartment is so comfortable that, if we are fortunate to return to Assisi, we plan to enjoy at least half of the day (morning or early evening) relaxing inside or on the terrace. Just a few minutes away is a classic Italian bar and a full-service grocery store, and thus a simple way to find foods for the day’s lunch or dinner and meeting a few people of Assisi. Deeply grateful for the pro service and, above all, the kindness.
