The host scammed us. We accepted a transfer from Airport to residence for 110 euros. We noticed the driver paperwork had a 90 euro fee. The host claimed the fee is normally 150 euros plus tax and he claimed to give us a discount. When we checked on our own all the transfers to Airport were 85-90 euros so we booked our own rather than let him rip us off again. He lied to us, if the host is dishonest what trust can there be. He also claimed a pillow case was stained by us which he found when he showed up at checkout in minutes, which seemed very suspicious. He demanded 20 euros and then changed the price to 25 euros for drycleaning. He also did not show us the button for the hot water, so we all had to take cold showers. We will never stay at this property as we book a lot through expedia but we would warn all travellers to stay away from this tourist trap.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Acropolis penthouse. The property was clean and in good condition, it gave us lots of space for our family of 7. Each living space was well air conditioned which made coming home after a day of sightseeing a real treat. The location is fantastic as it is very close to a number of sights including the Acropolis, Acropolis museum and walking distance to the national garden and Plaka. There are a number of good restaurants nearby as well as a market just 1/2 a block down the street. It really felt like we experiencing Athens as a local would rather than a tourist!

Fantastic place at the feet of Acropolis

We spent a wonderful long weekend at the place and our host was fantastic before and during our stay with communication. The place was excellent for my family and would absolutely love to stay at this place next time we're on Athens. The location is incredible and everything is literally within walking distance. Our host’s recommendations for dining did not disappoint and were greatly appreciated!

Highly recommended.

Thank you for a beautiful property in Athens. The apartment is centrally located close to tourist attractions, dining and transportation. Three large bedrooms, two full baths, and a great kitchen, living room, and dining area. Excellent customer service at the property to ensure everything went well. Highly recommended.

Great family stay & wonderful location!

Wonderful experience!! The apartment is very clean, comfortable and well furnished. Location is great, very near to the Acropolis with good access to lots of restaurants, shops and the Metro. Communication with Yannis was great. He met us at check in and made sure we were aware of and comfortable with all of the amenities & features of the apartment. He can also help with your tours or transportation needs. We look forward to our next trip to Athens!

Loved everything. Easy access to tv, beautiful bathrooms, luxurious beds, US power strip for charging, ac if needed. Great restaurants and easy access to Parthenon and Plaka. Lovely balconies with a view of Parthenon from 2 rooms.

Exceed expectations.

The apartment is located in an excellent area, you can walk to visit the main place in the city, it is very comfortable, beautiful, with many details inside and outside terraces all around. The manager Giannis is very communicative and informative, also is available for advice all the time.

Found this property on Expedia while looking for places to stay for my family. Hotel rooms are just too small. The Acropolis Plus Penthouse is located within walking distance to EVERYTHING around the Acropolis area. Yannis, our host, is very attentive and thorough and easily reachable during our stay. He has a wealth of information to provide to make your stay that much better. The apartment itself is huge, 3BR, two with queen beds and 1 with 2 twins. 2 full baths, and a full kitchen, and a main selling point for us, a washing machine. This way, we could pack light. There's wifi, there's AC, there's heat, there's Netflix. The apartment is perfect in almost every way. One thing to note is that the unit is on the top floor, which is the fourth level, designated at the third foor. (They start at ZERO) ;-). There is no elevator here. However, by the second day, we were champs at going up the circular stairwell. Just something to note if you're not in the greatest of health. Thank you to Yannis our host and I highly recommend this apartment for your visit to Athens. Location cannot be beat, as there are nearby cafes, grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurantes, sandwhich shops, gelato shops, etc. I could go on and on. What are you waiting for, BOOK THE ACROPOLIS PLUS PENTHOUSE!!!!
