This is a very nice and clean hotel that is in walking distance of many historical sites such as the Parthenon. The balcony suites are amazing and just made this trip to Athens even better. Highly recommend this hotel as a stay.

We stayed in the room with the private rooftop hot tub and terrace. Awesome room and terrace with great views. The rooftop is only accessible from this room so it is totally private. It would be great if you had a group of people staying at he hotel so you could all use it. Room was super clean and large. Bathroom actually had two showers. Location is great, super close to everything with the Acropolis, shopping and dining right outside your door. You definitely don’t want or need a car. The only downside is we only stayed here one night. I wish we would have had more days to enjoy the terrace.

Great location. It's a beautiful old building so the windows are old as well, which is fine. Only a mention in case someone wants a more sound proof room. Still wouldn't have changed hotels. Definitely worth staying. The view and closeness to the Acropolis ,Hadrians gate,the temple of zeus, as well as shops and dining. The staff responded quickly if i had questions and were very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

It would of been nice if all the suites had access to the hottub but the location is wonderful! The bathrooms are really nice and the room is cute and simple. I would stay here again if ever in athens.

We enjoyed our breakfast and the friendly woman that made omlettes. Walking to several of the historical sites was easy enough. Food and dining establishments were everywhere nearby. Enjoyed our stay very much.

A great place to stay in the middle of Plaka. Easy walk to the Acropolis and the Temple of Zeus. Breakfast was very good and Dimi, Anna and every other employee were very helpful.

Perfect all around. Being within the Plaka is great because all is walkable. Lots of dining options. The room was outstanding, large with high ceilings and a balcony.

Staff were so helpful and friendly, and helped us to check in at 1am. The room was spacious and bathroom too, and had a nice balcony. The property offered a great breakfast and is very close to the acropolis and shopping so we found it very accessible. Recommend to stay here

This is a great place to stay! In Plaka and close to all the sites and amenities. My husband has a hard time walking and we were close to the hop on hop off bus and lots of restaurants. Our room was huge and the private rooftop patio was a dream with a beautiful view of the Acropolis. I recommend this property highly.

This was the most expensive per night hotel we stayed at on our honeymoon. It was out last night before we headed back and I wanted it to be special. To say the staff here went out of their way to make us feel important is an understatement. We arrived to hotel super early and I just expected to put out bags in storage and come back later to get into room. They let us into room super early , showed us around the property, and gave us a bottle of wine and some snacks. The balcony and hot tub oh this place were epic. The views of the city from the private rooftop were amazing. The room itself was awesome as well with 2 showers and the nicest sheets we had slept on in 2 weeks. Book this room. Pro tip there is a camera pointed at the hottub use the hot tub cover to block camera and the building across from you that also has a balcony. We will be staying here again the next time we are in Athens.

Loved our short stay - the dream terrace suite was exactly as described with a beautiful view of the acropolis. Only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Tip: Checkin is at a sister property nearby.

Our stay was short (2 nights) but the best experience. Ideally located to tour around Athens and situated in Plaka where there is plenty to eat, shop and see. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel, but what made it so great is the staff. They were all incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel has two rooftop patios with excellent views of Acropolis, one is private (accessible only from one room) with a hot tub. We were so fortunate to get a room upgrade for the second night so we could enjoy our last night in Athens looking up at Acropolis from the hot tub. Truly fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Plaka.

The hotel was lovely. Staff were helpful. The balcony was a nice bonus for people watching. Food and shopping were easily walkable. The only negative is that it is a very noisy neighborhood which is expected since it’s a touristy area.

Great location, great room, great staff
This was a quaint little apartment style hotel right in the heart of the Plaka neighborhood. The street from the hotel leads straight to the Gate of Hadrian on one side and to the main tourist pedestrian street outside the Acropolis to the other. The owner personally greeted us and there was a complimentary bottle of white wine, which we enjoyed on the roof-top terrace while gazing at the Acropolis. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent boutique hotel very close to Everything!
Plaka Arch Suites is a great property in the middle of Plaka, walking distance to practically everything. The Acropolis, restaurants, Metro all just a short walk away. Very easy to get to from the airport using the Metro. So convenient. The room was very clean, and had a refrigerator, Nespresso maker, water kettle, and nice sized bathroom with shower. We also had a balcony, which I highly recommend booking . The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Checked us in quickly and we were off to dinner. Breakfast in the morning was also very good, fresh, and tons of choices. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Athens.

The hotel is so close to some if not all the most significant and prominent places in Athens. You can walk around and shop, and choose different restaurants to dine in of your own choosing. I highly recommend it.

This was first time out of the USA, and when I arrived, there was not a front desk to check in with. I am glad i looked at the app one last time before leaving, it said to contact the host. So i did, and they responded with a phone number to call. Be sure to have a phone with you. I called when i got there and the guy came in less than a minute. He was super friendly and kind. He explained everything and gave us a map for us to go have fun. This was an amazing place and everyone there was so nice. We stayed in the roof top suite, which had a private hot tub and deck overlooking the Acropolis.

Plaka Arch hotel was the best choice I made for our vacation. It is a beautiful hotel! Best location!! Everything is at a walking distance. We walked everywhere. The only time we needed a bus tour was to visit the Temple of Poseidon. We enjoyed our stay very very much. The staff was very polite and friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that the toilet wasn’t working. We were told that someone will come to fix it but no one did. At least no one notified us. Whenever I visit Athens again, I will stay at Plaka. You can see the Acropolis from the hotel’s roof top.

A great hotel, very good and friendly staff. Super service. The room was big and fresh and clean. Breakfast was stunning and made to order. Perfect location with Acropolis, Plaka, Syntagma just around the corner. We will choose this hotel for our next Athens trip.

Amazing location easy walking to everything around old town Athens. Few little things such as shower head broken and you can hear the rumble of the underground all night. Usually it's not too loud but can be heard. Overall very good property, everything you need for staying in Athens in comfort.

Great rooftop area and views or the city and Acopolis. Be aware that there is a narrow spiral stair case to the roof. my wife was unable to visit the roof as she has a fear of heights.

The rooms were excellent - large, bright, nice features, very good bathrooms - and excellent value for money, although we were travelling very off peak. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I only have two small issues - one is that we had to check in at the hotel across the road (no problem with that) which was very hard to find as there was no sign and the street numbers aren't clear. A clearer name sign on the door would be good. The other thing - and there is nothing the hotel's owners can do about it, so it's just a warning for other guests - is that the noise from the road was pretty full-on, even quite late into the night and early morning. The hotel has lovely period windows and shutters, but they're not good for soundproofing so if you're a light sleeper it might not be for you.

Wonderful place to stay with an excellent location to many restaurants, sites, and shopping. We also felt completely safe in the area where the hotel is located. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was also wonderful. The room was very spacious with a great view of the Acropolis from the terrace. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Athens!
