Let me start by saying that Rod was very pleasant when greeting us and was kind enough to allow us to check in a bit early, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience after that was disappointing. The manager appeared dismissive and not as attentive as she should have been.
I raised a serious concern after we found a bug in the bed, specifically in the sheets farther from the door. Because of this, my family was unable to sleep comfortably that night. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, I was told there was nothing that could be done until the room was inspected. While we were moved to another room, I feel some form of accommodation should have been offered, especially since we traveled from Miami and had a documented photo of the bug found in the bed.
To make matters worse, the second room we were placed in was dusty and had dog fur in the bed. I am allergic, and as a result, one of my eyes began to swell. Overall, this experience was stressful and far from comfortable, and I expected better attention to cleanliness and guest concerns.
