    Sit back, relax in the coastal breeze, and take in the beautiful ocean view from the balcony of this second-floor condo at A Place at the Beach. Come and spend your vacation lounging by the pool, flying down the waterslide, and collecting seashells on Atlantic Beach.

    A Place at the Beach is a gated, oceanfront complex that sits at the doorstep of Fort Macon State Park. There's a plank boardwalk leading onto the sand, as well as four beach chairs, an umbrella, small coolers, and a beach wagon provided by the owner for your use.

    On the grounds of the property, enjoy a large outdoor pool with a waterslide (and refreshments for sale), an indoor pool, tennis and basketball courts, shuffleboard, miniature golf, outdoor bowling, and a grilling area with picnic tables. There are even special events throughout the year, from live music to Easter egg hunts.

    Whether you're in town for the Beach Music Festival or Carolina Kite Fest, you'll love coming home to this air-conditioned condo each day. It's an efficiently designed space, offering a well-equipped kitchen, a living and dining area with a cable TV, and glass doors that lead to the shaded balcony overlooking the ocean. In addition to the primary bedroom (with its own TV), you'll have a sleeping nook just off the living room with an expandable divider.

Great place to stay, tons of amenities. Beautiful view of the ocean and close to the beach. Our only “complaints” were the creakiness of the couch and bed, made it impossible to move at night without waking the other person and the coffee maker didn’t work. Otherwise, great place and would stay again.

Perfect for a stress-free family vacation

Great spot for families. We could walk to the beach and play until snack time. Then, head back to the outdoor pool which kept my kids happy for hours.

Our little getaway.

Had a great time fishing, exploring,eating and relaxing. Only bad thing was the horrible, at best, Wi-Fi. We would look somewhere else because of that!

The condo was clean and just the right size for me, my daughter and granddaughter. My granddaughter loved the pool! We loved that the condo had beach chairs and buggy to carry our stuff to the beach. Would rent again!

The condo was cozy and a nice size for me, my daughter and granddaughter. My granddaughter loved the pool with the water slide. We had a nice weekend. Our only complaint is no pizza cutter in the kitchen😊

Quiet getaway

If you’re looking for a no frills vacation spot this is it. Bare minimum. Very creaky bed that should be replaced and cheap things throughout, pillows, furniture etc. The actual resort is very nice and I enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well as the beach. However this place needs upgrading.

Overall Good

The condo was good overall, however the Master Bed is HORRIBLE! It was uncomfortable, made obnoxious noises and the pillows were flat as pancakes. The location was great and the facilities and amenities made up for where the sleeping conditions lacked.

4 nights at the beach

The condo had a great view and easy access to the beach. The condo is very minimal, but has everything you need for a simple beach stay. The listing said there was a small cooler available on site and there unfortunately was not, but other than that, the space met my standards. Wifi didn't work well for me.

It was fine, a little run down with stickers on the walls for decoration. But during the night, the variety of roaches made their presence known. It’s was so infested that Vasaca moved us to a different rental. One of the shower drains was clogged, a toilet was clogged. The other shower was so small, I had to stand on tippy toes to not be blasted in the face by the odd placed shower head. I give this rental two thumbs down.

Very basic

The queen bed was very uncomfortable & old. Loud sounds when you roll over etc. Itchy cheap sheets. The sofa was gross, we put a king size sheet over it. The kitchen utensils & cups are sketchy. We didn’t dare use anything in the kitchen. This is a very basic condo.

Fine but not accurate

I expected it to be a bit cleaner. Pictures are not accurate need to be updated. The coffee pot was not a keiurg like advertised and we brought the wrong coffee. Different chair in the living space too. Bed was uncomfortable could use updating along with pillows.

Not good

Check in process was a nightmare. Vacasa gave us no information and it ruined our first night. Vacasa also told me they didn't have a pack-n-play here. So I went and bought one for the trip. I lug it upstairs just to find a pack-n-play. Wasted time and money The beds were so uncomfortable. My pregnant wife slept very little. The condo overall was just dirty. I was not happy with it. I would recommend "a place at the beach" but not going through Vacasa. They are very unpleasant and not helpful.
