Huge Let Down
Our difficulties began as soon as we picked up the key on Saturday. Upon arrival, the property manager informed us that housekeeping was running behind and that we might not be able to enter the home for up to two hours. Later, at 4:30 PM, she texted to say it would be another hour. We arrived at the property shortly after 5 PM to find no one there. I texted Brittany to ask if housekeeping had finished, but received no reply. After waiting 15 minutes without a response, we entered the home and found it had been cleaned. The property manager also told us to reach out if the pool needed attention, and that it could be cleaned daily if necessary. I texted her on Sunday with a photo of the cloudy water, but again received no response. Here are the issues we encountered with the home:•Front right stove burner did not work; front left burner’s outer ring wouldn’t heat.•Refrigerator was not cooling on day one—we had to purchase a cooler and ice. Fortunately, it began cooling by Sunday morning.•Electrical outlets in the master bedroom did not work.•Master bathroom showerhead was broken (maintenance eventually replaced it).•WiFi was out on Monday and Tuesday. Dianne resolved it by replacing the router on Tuesday. She was the only Vacasa team member who was helpful and communicative.•Master bedroom did not cool properly.•The second bedroom with the king-sized bed also had poor cooling.•Washer spin cycle didn’t work; clothes were left soaking wet.
