Only 2 lights in whole room worked. Then, we slept with those on because the cockroaches were unreal!

Big Mistake
There were two of us staying in the room. We had 1/4 roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, with no new rolls in the room. There was not a box of tissues. There were 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 washcloths. Some people would appreciate at least 4 of each of those. There were 4 plastic cups on the vanity and we were staying for three nights. The cups were never replaced as we used them, so we ran out quickly. The A/C worked, but made a huge racket every time it came on. It's hard to sleep under those conditions.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The rooms were nice, and clean, would definitely take extra pillows. Our overall stay here was pleasant. The price wasn’t bad at all.

Cheap no frills hotel. Not great but adequate. The shower was clean. Bed was okay but stains on sheets. Only three small pilliws on king size bed. Ice machine wasnt working. Very noisy because it is right on the busy road. Not a great neighborhood. Staff was very nice, especially when we could not get tv to work.

People coming and going all night. Beds and pillows lacking. This hotel must mostly be used for out of town workers and is pretty sketchy at best.

Not again
The room was no where close to as clean as other Motel 6 we had stayed in. The service was horrible. We literally had to kick the door to open it because it was messed up.

We have stayed here before and came back. Clean rooms. A little bare bones but that’s ok. Bring shampoo. Good and shopping nearby. A little traffic noise but not bad.

Roaches, noisy, broken toilet in a disgusting germ infested bathroom with who knows WHAT is even wiped on the walls and door, filthy floors and remote, bed headboard has shoe prints on it, blocked by “clean” pillows. Forgot your shampoo? Uh-Oh! This motel only gives two thin bars of cheap soap. Better drive to the sketchy store up street and get some! No tiny lotion or shampoos like most places.. Even the other disappointing motels I’ve been to have had that. Almost $90 to sleep on a bed that couldn’t even be wiped down at the headboard, extremely noisy all while worrying if roaches are gonna get on me. If they have roaches, what else do they have?? This is my 4th stay here, and I’ve learned my lesson. It’s not just “that” room. It’s all of the rooms I’ve been in. Do better, Motel 6! Save your money, there’s more places to stay in Gadsden. This motel, just isn’t it.

Thank you for not responding to me all weekend, and left me and my son in a town 6 hours from home to find a place to sleep after our reservation was canceled 17 minutes after check in. We had tickets to an event that night that WE WERE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND! We have to drive from hotel to hotel, while everything was sold out, and had to wait in a parking lot hoping there would be a cancelation so we wouldn't have to sleep in my car! I called the number provided by expedia, just to get an automated voice telling me you were too busy and call back later! There was FINALLY a cancelation, and I had to pay an extra money than the room I booked with you, on top of losing event tickets, and parking. So I spent a lot of extra money because I chose to do business with Expedia. Not including the stress, and being upset from missing the event we even traveled FOR!! I will never use Motel 6, or Expedia ever again, and will tell this story to ANYONE who will listen. Review has been posted to Motel 6 Attalla AL as well. I have receipts, tickets, pictures, videos, and proof you or anyone who would like to see. My vacation was RUINED!

Honestly there was nothing unique about the property. It was noisy, you could hear people outside, above you, beside you and traffic sounded as if it was coming through the very small parking area. Had a very hard time getting to our room due to a vehicle being parked "in our door almost". The door was very complicated to open. we were told that if it did not open pushing the handle down, then pull it up. The door was so hard to lock when leaving. my husband had to close the door hard and turn the handle a certain way and then back the other way, or something like that. It was a good size room but seating was two straight back chairs. It was a king size bed. Neither of us could sleep well due to the noise all around us. I'm glad we were only there one night.

Pleasant and helpful staff. Clean conditions, updated bath/shower, A/C worked and comfortable bed. The rooms could use a table and a comfortable chair, shampoo, a hair dryer, and a clock. Coffee wouldn't hurt either. The main downfall, which is really the only reason I would not stay there again, is the location is within a few feet of heavy truck traffic which is extremely noisy.

First, I had two rooms. Both rooms had burn holes in all the sheets. Room keys didn’t work either nights for both rooms. Then I had a guest that got extremely I’ll and went to hospital to find out that person had Covid. Then the front desk staff argued with me when canceling the one room for the last day for them and told me I should cancel both room and for me to stay somewhere else like a Hampton or Holiday in because I’m inconveniencing him and he can rent the room out for triple of what I got. The disrespect on the customer service was unbelievable. Looking and waiting patiently to have my reimbursement for room 211 for the last night that was canceled.

The place wasn’t horrible. You do get what you paid for, but we stayed and would stay again if needed. The issue is, roughly 7 drug deals were done right outside our room all throughout the night. That was not comfortable when you had kids there.

Pet friendly is about the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. Hotel is in very poor condition. I will look for another hotel when I visit this area in the future

The check-in clerk was very nice and helpful, & the room was convenient to the parking lot. But the room's facilities were in terrible shape: 1) the toilet seat was completely disconnected from the bowl!! 2) the outside door would not lock from the outside. 3) the headboard on the bed had a horrible, loud creak -- doesn't anyone ever check these rooms? Review for 9/27 - 9/28.
