“The bar closes at 10. The restaurant won't seat you without a "reservation" even though it's half empty. They probably have a staff shortage but won't admit it. Lobby tables left un-bussed. We had to do it ourselves. Room service, vacuums, etc are left in the hall for multiple days, let alone hours. And those nice, clear shower doors? Accumulated soap scum from previous guests. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet, which was the most important. Overall, a disappointing experience.”

“This was a nice hotel at one time, but it seems like the place is run down and in poor condition now. The Front desk guy and the valet/bell guys were helpful and friendly. The onsite restaurant "King Fish" should be avoided. The food we ordered was not good and the woman seating people at the breakfast service was quite rude both mornings we went there (since it was included in the room fee). “Hotel coloratissimo e particolare. Si trova in una zona della città piena di ristoranti e molto gradevole e sicura la sera. La fermata del tram è proprio di fronte all'ingresso dell'hotel e consente di spostarsi facilmente in altre zone di Portland. Colazione ottima. Parcheggio comodo. ”

“Such a bummer that we expected an amazing visit to the Hoxton but were disappointed by the uncomfortable bedding, slow WiFi and lacking room amenities. The room really needed somewhere we could put our luggage and I had to request a luggage stand from the front desk. In the age of gigabit Internet the Hoxton choose to allocate barely 10 Mb/s (I tested a few times) to our room which doesn't properly support streaming. But the real problem was the low bed frame, uncomfortable mattress (too soft)...
