Hotel centralissimo e recentemente ristrutturato, per cui appare molto gradevole in ogni spazio comune e nelle camere. Nonostante avessi prenotato una suite, le dimensioni sono piuttosto limitate, per cui il confort risulta limitato. Ad ogni modo ottima sistemazione per chi desidera esplorare la città e i suoi dintorni, proprio perché veramente centrale.

This is our second visit to the Fable and we have decided that this is where we will stay every time we come to Auckland now (unless we're travelling with our dog). The best thing about it is the service. Lots of staff and all so friendly and willing to help. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bed was super comfy and the location is perfect.

Nice clean hotel in central location, we had the junior suite which was okay. There were 2 blown wall lights in the room so room living area was very dark and the view out of windows for the high end rooms was of roofs and aircon units so no view at all. Staff were great and welcoming, breakfast was okay.

Not Friendly, room was dark, Breakfast was absolutely terrible I should have listened to other reviews plus they charge extra for a cappuccino even though I prepaid breakfast. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel more like a 3 star. Also I wanted to park my own car and asked where a self parking garage was and they said I had to park with them and let valet take it. And of course charged me for it. Stay somewhere else.

Great hotel close to the ferry terminal. Room was small but beautifully finished, espresso machine in a room and gorgeous tea cups :). Breakfast was ok , nice setting but limited buffet choices . Overall a beautiful hotel .

Lovely hotel, room was very comfortable. If you’re on the 8th floor there are a few stairs to walk up for those where it matters. The staff didn’t mention the Expedia credit that I had until I brought it up. Even at check out, I had to remind them to use the credit. Thus, maybe it can be noted better on their system.

Fantastic service. I had an issue with noise levels in my room for the 1st night of my stay. Staff were very attentive and accommodating when I requested a room change, if one was available. We were not only moved to a new room but unexpectedly given an upgrade to a fabulous suite. It really made our stay perfect. Thank you Fable, we loved our stay with you and appreciated you going above and beyond.

Beautifully renovated, well appointed and an extremely comfortable bed! Our queen room was back off the street so there wasn’t any traffic noise. Perfect location, right on the main shopping street and an easy walk to the waterfront and Spark Area. We will be back!

Mixed review. Room was comfortable, clean and well furnished, the bed was excellent. Unfortunately, staff seemed undertrained or new, both at the restaurant and front desk. Several of my communications were off from the staff, and not timely. Check in and check out were a bit bumpy, and several staff members didn’t speak English well. Our room was never cleaned during our entire stay and, strangely, there was always a vacuum cleaner parked in the middle of the hallway right by the room?

Not worth the money at all!
“King” room only had a tiny slit window and minimal light. Gym was messy, covered in dirty towels and broken glass. Breakfast was average at best.

Really didn’t enjoy this hotel. The customer service was terrible and despite our room being available we’re not able to check in unless we paid $80 early check in fee. Rooms were strange…small, in a strange configuration and lacking some basic facilities you would expect from a 5 star hotel like a work desk. Area is quite dodgy at night…stay somewhere else.
