  • Venite a soggiornare in questo splendidamente costruito, nuovo Allandale piatta. Assolutamente amerete la pace e la tranquillità della casa Ci si trovano nei pressi di importanti destinazioni Austin. Downtown, UT, il Campidoglio sono tutti a meno di 15 minuti in auto. Ottimi bar (di Ginny Piccola Longhorn Saloon, Little Woodrows, Pinthouse pizza) e ottimi ristoranti (Epicerie, Ghiacciaia di Phil, Peached Tortilla) distanza a piedi. L'appartamento moderno è stato costruito nel 2015, si affaccia su un bellissimo cortile. Che sia per un week-end abbastanza o per trascorrere SXSW qui, vieni a stare con noi per avere un assaggio dello stile di vita di Austin.

Fantastic living place for long term stays!!!!

The garage apartment/loft is very much as described/shown online. It is spartan & very clean, but has all basics you need. I chose it because of the wonderful openness created by all the windows in the living space area. Bedroom & bathroom well adequate with all you need. Peter very quick and responsive to any small problems that arise, even ones that I had personally or simply Austin questions. I arrived after the unusual ice freeze so it was still cold; and stayed 4 months through to sweltering 100 degree heat indices. We had a bit of a problem with the AC initially with the strange up & down Texas weather, which Peter was on top of immediately. The Allandale neighborhood is absolutely wonderful! Older Austin with tree-lined streets, neighbors out walking all the time, each lot differently built-on and nice to walk all around streets, and the garage apt/loft is in the back, so very quiet with covered patio to sit on & small yard. The only problem I had was when I arrived the house was up for rent and all dark, and I had trouble finding the driveway to the back because it was so dark and the garage was not lit. And, you have to be willing to go up & down an outside wooden flight of stairs to get to apt. But that makes the view & breeze from the upstairs windows all the nicer! House now rented by nice older couple (like me!). Excellent place for long term stay. I would’ve been very happy to stay much longer (I am a traveling physician)! Recommend highly, 5 ⭐️!

Perfect six weeks

We enjoyed everything about this wonderful apartment. It is clean, comfortable and well cared for. Peter is warm and attentive. We particularly enjoyed the restful vacation feeling of looking out at the trees. The yard was perfect for playing with our 2 little grandsons. It is in a wonderful neighborhood for walking, food shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend and hope to stay again when visiting Austin.

Great spot!!

We enjoyed our month at this comfortable flat with private seating area below and quiet neighborhood. Great place to relax, watch birds, enjoy the breezes and just hang. Great neighborhood to walk and pubs and food a stroll away. Will definitely come back!

Just perfect!

We loved every day of our stay at this flat. It was perfect for our month in Austin...close to good biking, The Epicerie (best beignets ever!), other restaurants and HEB (you don't appreciate HEB until you leave Texas). The flat is great - well stocked, lots of storage and great outdoor space. Loved having a full size washer and dryer! We felt very safe with the keypad on the fence and house. Peter was very responsive when we had questions. We hope to stay here again!

A home away from home

I was oh so lucky to call this lovely one bedroom apartment home for nearly a year, and I truly loved my stay! It looks recently renovated, and it is clean, full of natural light, nicely furnished, and fully equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Because it's elevated and the bedroom and living room look out over a yard with trees, I quickly dubbed it my little tree house. I love the surrounding residential neighborhood - it's safe, full of greenery and trees, and you can walk to the HEB grocery store and lots of great restaurants. If you're a runner, you can pick up the Shoal Creek trail nearby (which will take you all the way to downtown!). The location is super convenient, just a few miles north of downtown. If you're driving, it's very easy to hop onto Mopac or cut over to I35, and if you prefer to take local transit, there's a bus stop nearby for busses that go up and down Burnet. Last but not least, Peter is a wonderful and gracious host, easily reachable if you have any questions. It's a fantastic deal IMHO, and I plan on staying in my little treehouse whenever my travels take me to Austin :)

This flat is wonderfully stocked with everything you could need on your getaway. The place is designed to maximize your comfort, which is an experience enhanced by the location of the property. You can relax to your heart's content in the patio area under the flat. The value of this place is terrific, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal in such a central location. The only negative about this house is that our stay came to an end and we had to leave :)

Beautiful, peaceful, and clean

Peter's responses to questions I had were very quick. The property is kept tidy and everything is in tip top shape. The bed and couch are comfortable. The outdoor setup is awesome and great for an afternoon relaxation session.

amazing experience - sad to leave

we have literally monopolized this great property since july 2016 and for that, we will always be forever grateful to the owners peter and tara. having just moved to austin and embarking on a very long remodel of a house purchased nearby, we can't believe how lucky we were to find this place on Homeaway and be able to call it home for the last 10+ months. everything is modern and clean and it truly is fully furnished and well stocked - all you need to do is unpack and relax. there's plenty of storage if needed and the full size washer and dryer were a lifesaver. the location is nearly perfect being only minutes away from downtown, UT campus, the Domain shopping and dining, and all the major highways. we've also had so much fun exploring all the new shops and restaurants popping up on Burnet Rd. the neighborhood is super cute and remarkably quiet and safe, but what i really appreciated was having a huge supermarket right up the street where i got to ride my bike whenever i needed anything. the best part of this whole experience was interacting with peter and tara. i don't think we have come across nicer genuinely kind people in a long time. they did such a great job to make sure we had everything we needed and were so responsive and always went above and beyond. our time time here has been so fun and stress-free my husband often jokes we should just stay here permanently. :) while we're excited to finally be moving into our permanent home, we have such fond memories of "our" flat and we're a little sad to be leaving!

another awesome extended holiday at this flat

This is the second year in a row we spend our extended summer holiday at the Allendale flat. The home is still perfect, and feels like it were totally new. We love making this modern, yet super cozy flat our home away from home every summer. Burnet road is getting more and more desirable with super popular restaurants, a lot of which are within walking distance. We are definitely coming back next year. Thank you guys so much.

Private garage apt oasis

Peter and Tara's apartment made our stay in Austin even better! The garage suite is very private and secure, with its own surrounding gate and backyard lounge area. Inside felt very spacious and modern, yet comfortable. You could tell the entire space had just recently been upgraded. The apartment is very close to downtown Austin, and just minutes from Barton Springs, UT, and several great BBQ joints. We got our fill of delicious TX brisket, pork, and more. :) Peter and Tara were very welcoming and suggested many great places to visit, but respected our privacy as well. Would definitely recommend staying here whenever you visit Austin.

Cool house in a desirable neighborhood

Peter is such a nice guy and was accommodating and responsive to our requests. The rental has just about everything you need - well stocked kitchen and for us, the big surprise was the coffee grinder! The space is large, the bed comfy, (sofa is a comfy sleeper too!) and the bathroom perfect. Everything was immaculate. There are a ton of windows and listening to all the birds was a treat. There are plenty of food, wine, beer, shopping options within walking distance. (If you are a jogger like me, the neighborhood streets are perfect -wide streets, sidewalks, and bike lanes) Big grocery store literally a block away. My only issues: The wifi is spotty. If you open the door and sit on the steps, it's perfect. It also is better in the bedroom.. The living room could use comfy chair and perhaps some sort of end table with drawers? This would make thing easier for someone who is sleeping on sofa. With that said, I would highly recommend staying here for an Austin visit!

A WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY

This apartment was great for a one month visit to Austin. It was nearly brand new, bright, and airy, with a great overlook of the surroundings from five large windows in the living room. The lovely and private back yard with patio furniture sheltered from the sun was a pleasant place to read. The location is excellent with fine bus transportation to and from the center of Austin. Our hosts were delightful. We will definitely return.

Great property in great location

This garage apartment was perfect for our stay in Austin. The location is great, close to downtown and a ton of good eats! This is a fantastic rental for 2 people who want to be near all of the action. Owners were quick to respond to any of our concerns/needs. The property was well maintained, clean and a nice place to stay.

Immaculate apartment, delightful host

This apartment was perfect for our last 2 1/2 weeks in Austin, after our movers came. The apartment is less than a year old and in perfect condition with everything we needed for a longish stay. We loved the treetop-level view over the neighborhood skyline and the bright, airy style of the space. Peter was a wonderful host, very welcoming and willing to work with us on the exact dates of our reservation until we had our moving dates confirmed. I highly recommend this property and this host. We've lived in this neighborhood for 20+ years and love it. The apartment is very close to Burnet Road and a dozen excellent restaurants, ranging from casual taco joints (we love Torchy's) to upscale eateries, like the incomparable Fonda San Miguel. It's also close to the 803 Express bus route to downtown. If you're visiting from out of town, be sure and visit some of the wonderful museums and art installations on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin: The LBJ Museum and Library, the Blanton, the Turrell Skyspace at the Student Activity Center, and more.

Great Rental in Great Neighborhood

We were in a bind and needed a short term rental for about 3 months. This flat was amazing. Everything was new, clean and neat and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. It was a great deal for a fully furnished place. The home owners were very accommodating and friendly. Any time we needed something they responded quickly. There are lots of restaurants and fun things to do in walking distance. Overall it was a great experience. Next time we are in Austin we will definitely try and stay here.

I love this place it's a great deal. Me and my family loved this place it was just awesome we will stay again when it opens up again. Great for a getaway. The internet was lacking for my taste but flawless when you watch netflix that they give you to watch. Besides the slow Internet the owners were the best. You will enjoy yourself here no questions asked.

Wonderful modern flat

We had a wonderful time at the Allendale Flat. The space is beautiful, modern, the backyard is super peaceful. Peter and Tara were great hosts, easy to communicate with, easy to book with, all around excellent experience dealing with them. The neighborhood is fun for short walks, and the restaurants around were very tasty. We would definitely stay here again, the next time we are in Austin. Highly recommend this flat.
