Questa è un'ottima posizione nel famoso Hyde Park per iniziare la tua avventura ad Austin! È abbastanza fuori dal centro che puoi dormire bene, ma comunque vicino a tutto ciò che sta succedendo. Ci sono molti bar e ristoranti eccellenti in questa parte della città tra cui Hopdoddy, Uchiko, Taco Deli, Maudie's, Draft House, Antonelli, Food Heads, Central Market (meglio di Whole Foods) e molto altro!

Questo monolocale gode di un'eccellente posizione nel centro di Austin! È in fondo alla strada dal Triangolo (bar / ristorante e sviluppo residenziale) e molto vicino al centro, con ottimo accesso ai trasporti pubblici, il che significa che sei molto vicino a tutto. È stato recentemente ridecorato. L'appartamento può ospitare comodamente 4 persone con 2 nel letto matrimoniale e 2 sul comodo divano letto.

Great Location But . . .

The property is in a great neighborhood with beautiful old houses with gorgeous yards. I loved walking around the neighborhood. However, this small apartment complex stands out. It is very old, exterior shows it age. The inside of the apartment is cute, had everything that I needed for a week’s stay. However, since it is old, the baseboards and bottom of doors are very worn and a coat of paint doesn’t cover it. Most of the apartment has been nicely updated. When I initially walked in, the place smelled musty, turning on the AC helped but didn’t solve the issue. In the shower/toilet area, I did notice some black on the ceiling, didn’t get close enough to see what it was. AC vents could be cleaner. Parking was perfect, right outside the apartment door. Just enough space for my week long visit. I diid hear the person upstairs, every night at about 11:30, fortunately didn’t keep me awake. I frequently come to Austin, looking for a place to stay about 4 - 6 times a year, unfortunately, I don’t think this place is for me. The musty smell and black stuff in bathroom are the main things that bother me. I will say that I’m picky so it may be just right for someone else. Good / quick communication with the host.

Great neighborhood, but old and needs some attention

Some good, some not so good. The unit is a perfect size for a party of one or two, for folks looking for basic accommodations without a lot of frills. The bed was very comfy. The location is fantastic if you're looking to embed yourself in a cool neighborhood for your stay and walk to food, coffee, entertainment, etc. We loved that aspect, even with all the street construction nearby. Communication with the property management was speedy and reliable. All very much appreciated. However, the unit is old and the renovations are primarily surface-level. The walls and floorboards were visibly dirty and stained. The bathroom was marginal, and the unit smelled verrrry musty. The smell was probably my biggest complaint. I thought I could get past it, but it was very prominent. There was also a huge dumpster right outside our door that was overflowing and did not get emptied during our stay, and that also smelled. The dumpster is not the property owner's responsibility, of course, but its proximity to our unit just added to the overall unpleasant odor. It was really a shame. I get it that these apartments are old and have seen a lot of traffic over the years, and that this is a budget accommodation, but the smell is a deal breaker for me and I would not rent again.

Not as advertised

We booked this listing because the photos looked nice and the location was decent. This rental is located in a run down apartment building with thin walls. It is a ground floor unit with parking directly in front of the door similar to a run down old motel. The room faces the alley and garbage dumpsters. The above neighbour had their TV on full volume until 2am and then rolled around on their chair at 6am. We were in the room for 8 hours and left to find somewhere else to stay. We requested a refund or partial refund and were declined. I'll save you the headache. Don't bother booking this location.

Nice property, good for visits to UT

I was happy to find this was closer to the UT campus than I realized! Only 1.9 miles from the San Antonio Garage. Cute small property. We arrived late at night and had trouble finding street signs and house numbers in the dark, but we did get there and had a great weekend. The kitchen is very small, but we were eating out so it didn’t matter.

Great and Fast Customer Service

I am highly allergic to down comforters, pillows, etc. However, I only realized they were dead two hours when I was so miserable I could barely function. I quickly realized and found replacement linens closet. I sent an email to the property owner and asked that the linens be removed from the room and they were extremely accommodating and quick!!!

Comfortable and convenient

Very convenient and comfortable. Love this neighborhood, and our host was very responsive and helpful. Small touches like a filter pitcher of cold water in the fridge are really nice, especially on a hot Texas day! We would be happy to stay again in the future.

Excellent

We loved staying here! It was so quiet and comfy. Shower is nice and hot. Bed was big and soft. Kitchen was beautiful and had all the supplies you could need even though we never cooked while we were there. Host is excellent at communicating! Super accommodating and responsive. We definitely want to come back!

Cute, Quaint, and Cozy

I was visiting for a couple days and picked this place. Pic's are 100% accurate. Perfect place for 1-2 people. They had everything stocked for you. Apartment was very quiet. Never had any noise issue. Unit is located in the back and is shaded. Parking available literally righr in front of unit door. Only request was a mirror above desk which is righr next to the window. Perfect for doing hair and makeup, just need a mirror to do so. I will definitely book this place again on my next trip!

Check-in and the owners of this property made it an easy process. And yes, I would stay there again. What I did not like was that the tub was slippery. It needs something on the bottom to keep in from slipping. Also, the shower head is too low. And I wish the pillows were better. The positive is that the owners made it clean and welcoming.
