Great Weekend Stay

Cozy
The place was cute and cozy, very intimate and location was extremely convenient. We stayed during new years and we had a great view! we were able to see all the fireworks and downtown from the house.

Thanksgiving Getaway
My friend and I decided on a last minute trip to Austin over the Thanksgiving weekend. The location was very convenient to downtown Austin, it was clean and comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place for a low hassle, simple, comfortable stay.

Girls weekend
My friend and I booked this place for a little weekend getaway and it was AMAZING!!! Location was perfect and the owners really though of all the little details to make your stay hassle free! I would give this property 10 stars if I could!!! Is it a small place? Yes, but for you and one or 2 other people it is perfect, cute, and cozy!

Perfect Location!
Everyone in our group absolutely loved our stay here! The owners really thought of everything! The space may be small but is has everything you could ever need and more. We had 3 adults stay for multiple days and the space worked just fine for us and we would book here again. The location is ideal and we were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to go to. Everything else was only a 5-10 minute drive. We read a few negatives about the ladder going up to the loft and we personally didn't have any issues with it. It's very easy to get up and down and we loved that you could move the stairs out of the way when you didn't need them. We also never had an issue with noise from the metal & iron company next door. We still appreciated the ear plugs and white noise machine though because we're light sleepers. Also, the shower is worth mentioning. Amazing rainfall shower head & water pressure!

Great for travel
Stayed here two nights for work. Easy access to downtown via walking, bike, or scooter. Place was nice shower was great. Owners very communicative. Would for sure stay here again.

LOVE!! The small stuff does matter!
Loved this loft apartment! It was perfect for me. The extra small touches though, took it over the top! Edwin & MIndy were great with communication and I felt taken care of before I even arrived! I wish this duo had little loft apartments like this everywhere I travelled to! Super cute neighborhood, too. Easy access to shopping (Whole Foods & Target are about 3 blocks over). I used Uber to get into the Convention Center - never had to wait longer than 2 minutes for the car to arrive and it is a quick 5 - 10 minute drive away. Can't say enough about how much I loved this property, the owners, and the city! THANK YOU!!

Great Space
The apartment was perfect for one guest. Some thought did go into walking around at night as the location between a very well-lit area and a very run down area, but this didn't keep me from walking around to enjoy the Austin. The owners were incredibly responsive to questions and very accomodating.

This spot was the perfect little place to rest our heads during our recent trip to Austin! While there was construction near by, earplugs were provided and the thought and care put in was worth any activity outdoors! There were so many little accommodations and thoughts put into the loft. While small, we never planned on spending extra time outside of getting ready and sleeping and this location was perfect!

Austin gem in thriving neighbourhood
Great stay all around. A unique loft and although small it really served our needs. Limited kitchen cooking options but with microwave and fridge and Wholefoods minutes away we still did great with eating in. Great communication with property manager at all times on check-in and out and during stay as well. Super clean and would stay here again in we returned to Austin.

Convenient location and well appointed
I stayed at this property while attending a conference at the nearby Austin Convention Center, which is a short ten-minute walk. The unit is easy to access and is well appointed. It serves my needs exceptionally well and I'd highly recommend the property for others.

Outstanding communication, very clean, and great location!
Mindy and Edwin were fantastic hosts and we had a truly lovely stay in their cute guest house. We came to Austin for our honeymoon and were surprised to find a huge bottle of champagne and a thoughtful card upon arrival. They catered to our every need including our request for a steamer and gave us plenty of recommendations to keep us busy. They made sure to always be accessible if needed, which was really appreciated. We came to Austin during the hottest time of the year, so we were so thankful for the super cool A/C. Mindy even dropped off an extra fan for the loft. The property is conveniently located within walking distance or a short Uber ride to all the sights and shops. As others have mentioned, there is a scrap metal yard next door but the noise didn't bother us at all. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Mindy and Edwin!

Cute and secure
Very close to downtown, only 1/2 mile from the convention center which is just on the other side of the highway. Target and Whole foods is about 2 blocks away. The place was very clean and I felt safe and secure while in the property. Communication with Mindy and Edwin were great, they were helpful and quick with responses.

Everything We Needed With Easy Access to Downtown
Had a great stay at this little loft near downtown Austin. I work remotely and internet was great for a week of work and conference calls. Care was put into providing all the kitchen essentials one would need, local Austin coffee (delicious) and snacks. The lofts are fenced in with locks for safety and there is a shared courtyard with a fireplace and cute market lights lining the fences. Easy access to downtown and east Austin, we walked everywhere. Although there are some dicey areas you have to walk through to get to downtown. The loft is located right next to a iron and metal yard that makes it quite noisey during the day. Prepare to wake up to the sound of crunching aluminum and semi trucks at about 7am Monday-Friday. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, the house and the proximity to all the fun things. Edwin was super kind and responsive and very obviously committed to providing a comfortable stay for guests.

Great location with great hosts
The location was amazing and walking distance to all of the popular spots. Short scooter ride to Rainey and the Congress center. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we enjoyed our stay.

Clean Studio Condo
Had a great stay at the condo while I was in town at a trade conference. The entire neighborhood is changing over to large apartment buildings, and there is a ton great stuff to see close to the unit. I would stay here again if i had the chance.

Perfect!
This cozy apartment was everything we were looking for. It was about 20 minute walk to the state capitol and within 10 minutes of anything fun we wanted to do. The apartment was clean and cute. The outdoor space was perfect for sitting around a fire marveling at the Auston skyline.

Perfect location for the Convention Center
I recently stayed here and had a great time. The place was exactly as listed. It's a small place but that was all I needed. It's super close and easy to get to the convention center and 6th street from there. The only thing, like mentioned, is the ladder up to the loft. It is straight up and down. It was easy to use but I can see how it could be an issue if someone is not sober when trying to climb it. I would definitely stay there again.

Great location
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We spent almost every day at the convention center, which was not a far walk. The place was small, clean and suitable for our needs, since we didn't do much but sleep and eat breakfast and dinner there. The loft is very high up so we did stay on the couch, which was comfortable. The hosts were helpful and nice.

Great stay!
This condo was perfect for my hubby and me. The gate to the left of the main house ‘A’ did not open with the code given. Luckily we found a back gate and the code did work for that. The neighborhood is very transitional and there is a lot of activity on the streets. The metal business one lot over is a little noisy starting around 9 but we are early risers so it didn’t bother us. Getting over to the main downtown area is a little scary on foot if you’re not use to big town action. The sleeping arrangements were cool and so happy the daybed had a trundle because the loft stairs were a little steep and we were nervous to sleep up there especially if alcohol was involved. Overall this place was awesome and we will for sure be back for more of the Austin weirdness 🤗

Great location, smaller than expected
This is a very cute, but a very small loft ( maybe 250 sq feet). I liked the idea of the loft, but the ladder is awkwardly shaped making climbing hard on hands and feet. We slept on a very uncomfortable pull out couchbed. I am an athlete so this has nothing to do with the ability to climb up and down but rather the rings are just plain awkward... they go well with the decor so I can understand why they were chosen. There were no towels to dry dishes with and had to request washclothes ( Kim is fantastic and responsive). Overall a cute place within walking distance of great restaurants and coffee. Unfortunately probably even too small for two people IMO.

Excellent location and customer service
Kim was such an excellent host! She stayed in contact throughout the entire process, making sure we knew how to locate and access the space, and ensuring our stay was as comfortable as possible. She even through in some ear plugs because there was construction nearby (although the construction really didn't bother us at all.) The ladder to get up to the bed was a little annoying for middle-of-the-night bathroom breaks, but we knew what we were getting into and the customer service was so great it more than made up for it! This location was EXCELLENT! This neighborhood was a perfect mix of quiet and hip, and it was a perfectly short distance from everything we wanted to do. We definitely took advantage of the plethora of scooters nearby to get to everywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely recommend this loft!

Great location and everyone was friendly and helpful.
The room was clean and nice little gifts were welcoming us. The stairs up to the loft bed are pretty steep and I had hurt my knee before coming so we used the sofa bed which worked out great.

Great Property, Will Book Again
This is a great modern property with easy access to downtown. I walked or rode one of the available scooters around. Property was clean and the description was accurate. Kim was always polite and even brought me water when the city had flooding problems. I will book again. Remember, this place does not have a kitchen (microwave and small fridge), is upstairs, and will require you to either climb the ladder into the loft bed or sleep on the fold out couch. The neighborhood is going through a revival with lots of construction in the area for homes and apartments. I walked to bars and food places that were only a few blocks away both during the day and at night with no issues.

This property was hard to find. The alley was difficult to locate and maneuver especially at night.
You need to include the square footage in your description. When you say it sleeps 4, it’s deceiving. We would have had more space in a hotel room. The ladder is ridiculous. If I were you, I would somehow have a slanty ladder stored in the closet to bring in and out with comfort touch rungs. The kitchen and bathroom are visually appealing and easy to use. You should however include in the stay: more coffee, wash cloths, hand towels, flat sheets for the loft and SOAP! As far as our stay, the guys renting at an adjacent property were nice however they played loud music in the middle of the night and stayed up talking on the patio until 6:00 AM! It’s not an ideal set up for two separate guest parties. This is a great property for people who want to go out and enjoy Austin nightlife. Definitely not for a quiet weekend.

Perfect for a couple!
Property was just as described. Very clean. In a great central location to everything to do in Austin. We didn’t spend much time inside as we were out exploring most of the day, but when we were there we enjoyed the smart TV and comfortable couch.

Great stay
It was clean except one or two pillows and cool design. I loved that I was able to stay outside while it was raining at apt B. The ladder hurt my hands going up, but the bed was comfortable and what an awesome view and experience sleeping up high. They provided extra comforters and it was a great stay overall.

Perfect perch!
Gorgeously modern and quaint tiny home. Location was superb with easy access via 4th to downtown and Rainey St, as well as East Austin too. Favorite was the coffee roaster down the street, Native and up the hill BBQ, Mickelthwait. Views were lovely. There is a metal company next door that can be a bit loud during the day, but we were often gone so it did not bother us and the alley had a bit of trash along it, but definitely a hip and upcoming area. Great stay, thank you!

Overall the entire property is nice and clean.
But it ends there. The pictures are deceiving and the property is a lot smaller then what the pictures make it out to be. The loft doesn’t get any ac so it’s fairly hot up there. And the “central ac” is a wall unit and it doesnt get that cold in the room. The last two nights we were pretty miserable with the heat. Also the ladder is fairly hard to climb up so we slept on the pull out. One of the blankets was pretty dirty with either wine or blood not sure but yeah I don’t intend to re book this property again.

For any guests that may be reading this, the AC works just fine (it stays around 60-70 degrees F inside). When we went into the studio after Jason had left, we found the thermostat set to "AC Off" and "Fan On". He had left the AC off and assumed it didn't work well. He did not complain to us or reach out to us with questions the whole duration of his stay, otherwise we could have helped him with the AC and replaced the blankets with a fresh set. In order to prevent any confusion with the thermostat, we've since set an automatic schedule to keep it nice and chilly in there at all times, even if you accidentally turn off the AC. Regarding the size, the pictures show exactly what it is, and it is described as a Studio, and not a 1-1 bedroom/bathroom.

Clean and comfortable unit
It was small but we did not need much room. It did take some getting used to climbing up the ladder to the bed in the loft. Price was good and it was within walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Quaint and impeccably decorated!
A few friends and I were in town for the weekend looking to explore Austin for the first time, and this loft was the perfect place for us to stay! A very reasonable 15 minute walk away from both Rainey street and 6th street, the location made it too easy for getting around the city. The unit itself was absolutely beautiful. All the furniture was modern and sleek, while the bathroom was very nice (I am a sucker for good shower water pressure). The four of us fir and slept comfortably - I actually preferred the pullout couch to the lofted bed. One thing to note about the place is that there is no kitchen sink or stove, although the kitchen is fully stocked with plates, glasses and silverware. We did no cooking during our stay (Franklin's is also only a short walk away!) so that was a non-issue for us. Kim was extremely responsive, nice and helpful throughout the entire process. All in all I cannot recommend this unit enough!
