Splendida posizione proprio nella parte migliore di South Lamar! Barton Springs Pool e Zilker Park sono a solo 1 miglio di distanza con tutti i fantastici festival come ACL, Blues on the Green, il Kite Festival, o semplicemente uscire e rilassarsi con lo skyline di Austin come sfondo. E 'anche vicinissimo al centro (1 5 miglia), Uchi, Saxon Pub, Odd Duck, Alamo Drafthouse, Long Center, Shore Auditorium, Lady Bird Lake, Mighty Cone, Shady Grove, Chuy's originale, Peter Pan Mini Golf, e molto di più!

Il quartiere di Zilker ospita molti famosi monumenti di Austin, tra cui l'Umlauf Sculpture Garden, lo storico ristorante Tex-Mex Matt's El Rancho e la Barton Springs Pool, situata nello Zilker Park che ospita l'albero delle vacanze e il Trail of Lights di Zilker, nonché Austin City Limits Music Festival.

Andare in giro è facile e veloce. L'appartamento si trova vicino alle principali autostrade: 290 (a sud) e Mopac (ovest) e alle principali strade locali Lamar e Barton Springs, con ottimo cibo e shopping in giro. Uber e Lyft sono tornati ad Austin, ma abbiamo anche una compagnia locale chiamata Fasten. Hanno tutti un servizio eccellente e tariffe super economiche in questa zona. Downtown Austin si trova a solo 5 miglia in fondo alla strada.

Great Stay

We had a quick over night trip. The stay was pleasant and we felt welcomed. The apartment was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was quiet and close to where we needed to be. The owner was very communicative with everything we needed to know, which was helpful.

3 day stay for a grandson’s graduation.

The unit was very clean. It is an older property. The small backyard has overgrown weeds, that needs some work. The bed was very comfortable. However the fitted sheet is not big enough and slipped off We were not able to put it back on around the corners. Loved having coffee in the kitchen and plenty of nice towels. The tub should have a grab bar. It was slippery.

Quick Spring Break

The property was exactly as advertised. This is a small apartment located right off of South Lamar. It is very close to downtown and Zilker park. We were able to go to Barton springs and enjoy the water even if it was a little cold. This is a great spot for anyone looking for a quick, affordable getaway. It is not a big rental built for entertaining, but rather a cozy apartment for easy access to Austin.

Worst VRBO stay ever

This is the worst VRBO experience we have ever had. First of all, I consistently received two emails for every reminder and every check in one from Austin vacay and one from a service manager. This made the check in process difficult because the code sent to me did not work. I called the property manager who answered after the second call and gave me a different number which worked. They apartment in our opinion was not at all how was presented on the website. The furniture and art is different (no big deal). The outside door frame is completely rotted away, the kitchen cabinet and drawers do not close. There is black mold in the air vents. On almost every door inside and out is chipping and peeling paint. They lid on the toilet is broken and clearly glued together. The apartment smells very strongly of odor ban cleaning solution and as it wears off you can smell cigarette smoke. The units around this apartment all have broken blinds and loud barking dogs (I know the property manager can't control the neighbors, but something that would have been nice to know). Both times I contacted the property manager (check in and when we wanted to talk about the property) I had to call twice before he would answer. Needless to say, we left the property and ended up getting a hotel. I called the property owner and explained our concerns, he was not willing to refund any of the money except the cleaning fee, which I still have not had returned to me. Had this been a cheap rental I wouldn't have cared so much but as you can clearly see if you're considering it, it isn't cheap.

Great little place

This was a great little place to stay at for out quick Austin visit. Place was clean and conveniently located near the main attractions. Place could use some maintenance updates but overall it was clean and comfortable for the night.

Great location, worked for a couple

Great location for a getaway for my husband and I. We walked to several restaurants (10 min walk, easy peasy). Short drive to disc golf, Zilker Park, breweries and stores. The bed was not the most comfortable but it worked for a few nights. Neighbors were quiet, no issues at all, felt safe, parking is easy.

A perfect location and cozy home for a weekend in Austin

Overall we enjoyed our one night stay at this property. It was cozy and had everything we needed. When we arrived, it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly (hairs in the shower and on our bed sheets) which was a bit uncomfortable during a pandemic. However, we reached out to the property manager and they immediately sent someone out to change the bed linens and reclean the bathroom. Sometimes things happen and cleaners don't always do a good job, but I appreciated the promptness of getting the situation taken care of.

Clean, great value & location, but check that they've fixed the saggy bed

Very clean, private, and nicely furnished kitchen was great for a little quarantined getaway, and the AC works great, even at the end of August. There's plenty of space in this place, and in the distant future when travel resumes, this would be a fantastic deal for anybody visiting town- I can easily see sleeping a group in here comfortably and the neighborhood is fantastic. For now, there's a dining room table set against a clean white wall that is perfect for remote work & Zoom calls, and a calm residential neighborhood for socially distant walks when you need to get out of the house. The apartment itself is nothing fancy, but has everything you need to cook and look after yourself without relying on restaurants---as an added bonus, this is in a ground floor complex, which means HEB can deliver groceries right to your door. My only downside was that the king bed in particular was very, very saggy- I had just come from sleeping on a 30 year old mattress at my parents, and this one was somehow worse. I took the queen bed instead, which wasn't particularly comfortable either, but did the trick for a week. In the end, maybe this is what a quarantine getaway is for- just enough distance to convince yourself that there's no place like home after all.
