“We had a great stay overall. The host was very kind, responsive, and quick to help whenever we had questions. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi/internet never worked during our stay, despite the host's efforts to resolve the issue. I also wish the home had been stocked with a few more essentials, such as paper towels and coffee.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property, especially if reliable...

“ – Very Disappointing ExperienceOur stay at this Vrbo property was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, we found multiple small cockroaches on the kitchen floor and dining table, along with a spider in one of the beds. This made us uncomfortable using the kitchen and sleeping in the home.We immediately contacted Vrbo for assistance, expecting help resolving the issue. Instead, Vrbo connected us directly with the property manager. Rather than addressing our concerns professionally, the...

10. Two Bedroom Oceanfront Beach House

Buxton

“The beach house we stayed in was NOT truthfully represented on the VRBO website. The pictures depicted a beautiful beach, etc. There was NO beach, just ugly, raggedy, partially filled sand bags. The ocean literally came UNDER the house, while the house would slightly rock as the waves hit. I am certain the house was safe, but feeling uncomfortable and disappointed in having no beach, we left early, losing our money.”

“My family and I had a great stay at this property! From the very beginning, communication was easy and seamless, which made everything stress-free. The house was spotless, and I really appreciated that everything was clearly labeled with helpful instructions. The location was perfect for us. We had family nearby and were just minutes from tye beach, local stores, and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for families with kids. We'd be happy to stay here again!”
