Always Included, complimentary linens and made beds! This beautifully designed retreat is located in a private and serene corner of Avon. Upon entry, you'll be greeted by a cozy living room with large sofas and a coffee table that's big enough to present the perfect movie night spread. Directly behind, you'll find the fully-equipped kitchen and a dining room with breathtaking views of the water through the window. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, shaker-style cabinets, a back-lit tile backsplash, and a grand center island to help with preparing meals and maximizing counter space.

Outside on the porch and back deck, you can take in beautiful views of the serene island trees hugging the water's edge, and unwind in the private hot tub after a day of coastal adventure. You'll be within a walkable distance from the grocery store and other local Hatteras Island shops in the plaza. When you need a break from the beach, enjoy access to the seasonal shared pool and tennis court. A World Away is located in Kinnakeet Shores, a beautiful and scenic neighborhood filled with multiple lakes and many amenities. This lakefront home is perfectly situated close to many gorgeous access points to the beach and sound. Come enjoy all of the comforts of this Hatteras Island vacation rental, well-equipped with everything you will need for a wonderful stay on the Outer Banks. The water views are absolutely stunning from every window! A World Away would love to have you!

Our new favorite !

If you like a quiet, private place to stay with surprise wildlife, this is it! The home is mostly one level, which we loved! A small half bathroom a few steps down and then laundry a few more steps! Everything was well thought out and beautiful! The best part for our family, was the pond is literally right off the lower patio and a huge family of turtles has made this their favorite place to visit! They love bread crumbs and so do the minnows and blue Gils! There are also deer that have a hidden entrance right to the side of the lower patio and may make a surprise appearance! That was a treat! Food Lion is seconds away and if the sand road across from the home is open to use like during our stay, it’s 50 Mississippi’s away! We all agreed that this is where we want to stay next year in Avon!

Ant infested, pitty nice place

Nice almost new place. Well located near the beach. As the title says the place was ant infested even in the bedrooms. Also expect none of the following: dish soap, dishwasher liquid, kitchen paper towels, extra trash bags. So plan to eat every meal in a restaurant or purchase the basic kitchen cleaning items.
