    Set sail for a fantastic vacation at Diamond Shoals, a cool vacation cottage with exceptional beach access and a location that's just three lots from the oceanfront.

    Outside, you can relax in style on the furnished sundeck. Inside, you'll adore the beachy decor and ample room to spread out. Retreat to the large furnished sunroom for a little peace and quiet or retire to one of the three charming, comfortable bedrooms to catch a good night's rest.

    With comfortable surroundings and little touches throughout to make you feel welcome, Diamond Shoals is an island retreat you'll want to return to year after year.

    Please Note: As a barrier island, Hatteras is constantly changing. Beach conditions, dunes, and access points may vary due to erosion, restoration projects, weather, and other environmental factors.

We love this house its not to small or too big, its perfect, the bedroom with half a bath in it was a great size the bed was comfy, great location. This makes our 2nd year in a row staying at diamond shoals. We love this place!! Its clean, easy access.

This is a beautiful place to stay with a great view and access to the beach. The 2 condos I have stayed have had beautiful decor and were very clean with everything we needed for a great stay. Good basic house

Good basic place to stay. Close access to the beach and anything you might need. Renters need to bring all necessities, including coffee filters, salt/pepper, and cleaning materials for counters and tables as they are not available in the house.

Great little vacation home

This home was everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The sunroom was our favorite spot to hang our in the evening after spending the day on the beach. The hone was equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen.

Great location....close to beach

The house was comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out. The house was as advertised, 3rd lot from beach. Supermarket, shops and restaurants close by. Make sure to bring your beach accessories.

Diamond Shoals 67

The house was relatively clean, a little outdated but overall very cozy. Perfect for my family of 3 . The extra hour drive to Avon was well worth the location of the house and family like feel. The beach access was amazing, from the driveway to the water was less than a five minute walk! Everything we needed or wanted to do was less than 2 miles away. We will definitely stay here again!

Special spot near the ocean

We were so delighted to find this special place in Avon. The property has a nice layout and great access to the beach. The interior has the comfortable feel of many happy times spent here by the owners. I loved sitting out on the porch and listening to the waves. The beach was lovely, but please note that there are plenty of four wheel dive vehicles on this section. We will definitely want to come back to this quiet neighborhood!

Great location!

This is our 12th stay in Diamond Shoals. We love the location. Steps from the widest, most beautiful beach on the island. We love the 2 living areas that allow us to spread out! House needs: dishwasher, updated furniture, new mattresses and a picnic table on the deck. We bring our camping hammock for extra lounging on the deck.
