OCEANSIDE Avon — Greenwood Pl. — A quintessential blend of coastal charm and rustic elegance, AVON BEACH DREAM is a haven of relaxation and tranquility. Located in quiet Greenwood Place, a natural screen of trees offers a private enclave for this four-bedroom/two-full and one-half-bath home that sits within easy walking distance of both the glorious Atlantic Ocean beach and the charm and convenience of Avon’s grocery, shops and restaurants.

Take in the scent of salt air and warm cedar as you move your things from the covered carport into this two-level cottage. Take note of the fish cleaning station with water and lights when planning any fishing excursions, as well as the outdoor shower and foot wash station to expedite clean up after a day on the beach. Also under the house is a charcoal grill and picnic table for future alfresco dining. Alfresco soaking — in the six-person hot tub — can be experienced one level up on the covered front porch. On this level, you will find all of the home’s bedrooms including a king with a newly renovated bath and Smart TV; a queen, a room with two singles, and one with a pyramid bunk that also features TVs and shares another updated bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

On the second level, discover a great room that offers a cozy retreat exuding intimacy and warmth, perfect for gathering everyone together for meals, game nights, and making memorable vacation moments. The kitchen is a chef’s delight, equipped with new appliances and a wide counter offering easy meal prep space. Adjacent to the kitchen is a quaint dining area, where a rustic wooden table invites gatherings for seven over home-cooked meals. The living area is furnished with plush sofas facing a large Smart TV. Those watching may have to turn the sound up if the nearby foosball table action starts to heat up. A quieter, more peaceful option can be found outside on the spacious deck that beckons you to unwind in the salty sea breeze from one of the Adirondack chairs. Avon family beach house

The house was very clean with a lot of amenities (outdoor shower, hot tub, several decks, etc) and everything works properly. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub although the water temperature would raise higher than we set it and it was missing the head rests. The location is ideal (close to beach access and stores but not loud or too busy either). Our only real complaint has nothing to do with the rental house: Our family really enjoys playing in the ocean and bodyboarding & bodysurfing. The waves consistently break right at the shoreline at this beach. The waves break much better at the sandbar located down near the fishing pier. The house is great for large families or for 2 families and reasonably priced.
