“Layout of the room could have been improved as could not use the couch and watch TV. TV was a bit small, tucked in the corner and too low to comfortably watch from the bed. Otherwise, clean, tidy and good service on arrival.”

Breakfast included was lovely with lots of options to start off the day! Location was fantastic, walking distance to great area to view this beautiful historic town. Highly recommend this stand out hotel. ”

“I had a wonderful stay at Pen-y-bryn Lodge. The property is a beautiful historic building with a peaceful atmosphere, and the room was spacious, spotless, and full of character. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay feel warm and personal. Overall, a fantastic experience — I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Oamaru.”
