Chalet a Ayr

“Posto molto elegante, camera altrettanto elegante, spaziosa e con arredi ricercati. La doccia non è all'altezza del posto e anche il materasso troppo morbido. Colazione molto buona anche se poca la scelta della parte dolce ma giustamente in queste zone prediligono la parte salata. Lo consiglierei. ”

“Wonderful quirky and homely guest house that really felt like ‘home’ and we were made to feel incredibly welcome from arrival. The street scene was beautiful and we parked super easy. We stayed in the small double with the bathroom across the landing. Not for the prude, who prefer discretion, but we found it perfectly fine and a fun experience dodging guest movements up and down the stairway when using the bathroom. It is key locked, so no one else can use. Quite tight; I am 6ft 2in and found...

“Hotel bello, in stile retrò/marino. Posizione magnifica vicino alla spiaggia di Ayr. La nostra camera (4persone) era divisa in due stanze ricavate in un cortile di servizio. Stanza principale confortevole ma un po’ umida, l’altra fredda e con un divano letto non troppo comodo. ”

“Hotel tutto sommato carino , personale decisamente poco cortese ho dormito malissimo a causa del rumore delle finestre per via del vento.. la doccia era praticamente senza acqua con uno strano sistema di gestione elettrico che rendeva l’acqua o bollente o ghiacciata la colazione molto triste .. poco personale e decisamente una scelta molto contenuta ”

“The room (and possibly the entire hotel) looked to have been renovated recently? No air conditioning in the room and so it was a bit uncomfortable during the night. We only realised there was an electric fan at the back of the cupboard as we were leaving 🙄. The staff were nice and the parking was plentiful. Well located at the Ayr end of the high street and not too far from the beach. The breakfast was very tasty and they offered a good range. Overall we were very happy with our stay.”
