“Clean & comfortable room. Great food. Both dinner & breakfast were excellent.”

“Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception.”

“Friendly staff, lovely breakfast and great location”

“Location was good, right off the highway. Lots of free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very good. We didnt have the breakfast. Shower was nice had a bathtub. Beds were ok pillows were hard and not very comfortable. Would stay again.”

“The room was ideal for what I needed and was a lot warmer than first looked, with it being in the outbuildings I thought it would be freezing but it was sound. The breakfast was decent enough and overall the stay represented excellent value for money. It’s probably a lot more lively in the summer as the pub/restaurant was empty the night I was there which felt a bit strange. I would stay again if in the area with work.”

“The Guinness Arms had character rooms and the hallway was just as nice. Our room had aircon and also a skylight which had retractable blinds if you wanted to look at the sky or not. Room was clean and cosy with coffee and tea facilities. A bottle of water was also supplied with a selection of biscuits. Iron and board in cupboard for those who want to sort the creases out. “The room was clean beds comfortable en suite good. Cleaned every day biscuits tea replenished daily. Tha accommodation is on a busy road and many lorries till midnight and again from 5am very noisy if windows open which is necessary as no air conditioning in the room.”

Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first.
