“It has been great. The room was spacious and comfortable, sadly the bathroom had no window but it was not a big deal. The breakfast was superb. Casa da Ilha's people are kind and very thoughtful. The position is great to be away from the city but still being able to get to the center of Ponta Delgada with a 10 minute walk, ocean side. Incredible.”

“A very charming hotel away from the tourist crowds and in a beautiful historic part of the city. The room was a lovely, large studio with fridge, hotplate, microwave, toaster, kettle, pod coffee maker, all the dishes, cutlery, pots and pans necessary to be independent if wished. On the 2nd floor we found it quiet. If there was noise from the nightclub across the street, with air conditioning and closed windows and shutters we barely heard it. Not a problem. Honestly, I wouldn't even look to stay...
