“Good breakfast good room and staff”

“A couple things weren’t clear when I initially booked. I didn’t realize this was a boat access only accommodation. The staff operate the boat across the river and at one point the host left resulting in being stuck at the cabins. In addition I booked because it said free airport shuttle. The airport shuttle was not free so I’m not sure why this place popped up when I put that filter on. The staff were very accommodating and helped get me dinner delivered and were prompt with boating me across...

“Breakfast area was not inviting, it was too dark. Definitely need an upgrade in a breakfast area. There was no one around when I walked in the breakfast area. The room was decent but could definitely do a bit more clean.”

“Wonderful setting in an expansive Oriental garden with coy ponds. Serene, relaxing. The hostess very welcoming. Their Asian restaurant has best Asian food I've had in Belize hands down..it is comfortable and surrounded by coy pond littered gardens. Hotel room clean and tidy and quiet. Quite the diamond in the rough. ”

“This hotel is a quiet gem off the beaten path. The staff are very friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. The pool area also great for a quick dip. The most surprising is the food at the restaurant - that red snapper was the best I ate across my travels to Belize!!!! The only negative is the water surrounding the area is unswimable. I stayed for one night and it was great for my time there.”

It is clear that the place has not been properly cleaned or maintained for quite some time. There was visible dust buildup throughout the property, including vents and surfaces, which made the environment feel dirty and neglected. There were also serious maintenance and safety concerns. “Everything was really nice”

“We were diverted here for 1 night when the Roatan airport closed due to heavy rain. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's bare bones room, no coffee maker or safe, no elevator. We just needed a place not far from the airport for a quick one night stay. ”
