Elegant Family Home near Kemah Boardwalk, NASA Space Center, Galveston Beach

Enjoy our Elegant 2-story family vacation home located in the Chase Park community just 5-miles from the Kemah Board Walk. NASA Space Center and Galveston Beach are all within close proximity along with many other attractions, restaurants, and shopping centers the area has to offer.

The space
**LAYOUT OF OUR SPACIOUS HOME 2,500 sqft-- High ceiling living room with a large, beautiful chandelier and large windows, Victorian style leather furniture. Brazilian Koa wood stairs case. All ceramic tile 1st floor and all Black Bamboo flooring 2nd floor. The kitchen has granite countertops with bar stools and all stainless-steel appliances with all the necessary cooking essentials. the Master bathroom has double vanities, shower, a claw foot bathtub, walk-in closet and toilet. All beds have Green-tea memory foam mattresses for your comfort.

One Queen-sized bedroom is located on the first floor across from the 1/2 bath and main living room. Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms and a loft family room. two queen-size bedrooms and a king-size in the Master bedroom. All the upstairs rooms have easy access to the 2nd floor bathroom. Persons sleeping on the first floor will need to climb stairs to access the shower/bath. Outside Gazebo patios with firepit and BBQ grill. 75-in TV with Xfinity Cable, a selection of Free movies and 1000mps Wi-fi included.

**THINGS TO DO IN THE BACLIFF AREA
Kemah Boardwalk and amusement park, Galveston Beach, NASA Johnston Space Center, Bay Area raceway, Dickinson Historic Railroad Center. Tanger Outlet, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Fishing piers, Boat rides, Jet skiing, Kayaking, water skiing, Bayou Wildlife Zoo, and Horse riding offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water and beaches. Bayside Regional Park located behind the home for jogging.

Guest access
The whole house is yours! I live off-site, but I am always available for emergencies and always respond to texts and calls in a timely manner! We have a keypad on our door, so guests can check in at their convenience! with the exception the car garage and a few closets that I use for storage. I also ask that you do not use the fireplace.

Other things to note
**Minimum: 3-night stay
**Guest Count: Maximum 8 guests.
**After 4-guest there is an extra guest fee of $10 per person per night

I trust that you will be honest with your guest count as I have cameras outside monitoring who goes in and out of my home. Therefore, if you are dishonest, I will know, and you will be penalized. If you plan to invite family, friends, or guests not included in your reservation, you must have my approval.

Our employees loved the home. It was super clean and very accessible. The host was wonderful and very accommodating. I really appreciated her quick communication and her house rules and directions. We will definitely be staying here again if in the area. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful, well equipped house.

We stayed for 2 weeks and it was like a home from home.The kitchen has every amenity you could possible need, the beds very were comfortable and clean, and towels were well stocked for everyone staying.We have loved staying at the property and are hoping to stay once again later in the year.

Beautiful Clean Home

This home was absolutely spotless, & so beautifully decorated. The neighborhood feels very safe and was perfectly located near shopping centers & the Kemah Boardwalk. We were able to cook as if in our own home ! Really appreciated the well stocked kitchen and large refrigerator!!! We enjoyed the space for a seated family breakfast (8 people!) ☺️ The house itself is inviting and the beds omg the beds !!! They were so comfortable, everyone made the same comment after our first night 🤣 The washing machine & dryer was huge plus, communication with the hosts was great! Overall our stay was a calming and pleasant experience, will definitely reserve this home again when visiting family in the area.

Overall great

The only reason i am not giving all 5 star ratings is they did not describe that there is only memory foam mattresses. I look for this specifically when booking as I sleep horrible on this type of mattress. All else was great.

Good place for NASA and Cruise

We were looking for a very specific layout with at least 3 rooms without twin beds. This property was well kept and in a great location for us to visit NASA prior to a cruise leaving out of Galveston. Tbone Toms is not far away and a great place to eat.

Great home for a family vaca

This home was one of the best VRBO’s that we have stayed in. The communication with the homeowner was fast - she quickly replied and addressed any questions and problems we had, regardless of the time of day. The kitchen was completely equipped - making meal preparation easy and convenient. There was a formal dining room, a breakfast nook, or outdoor tables and chairs to choose from. Our favorite was coffee and breakfast outside as the sun came up! Fabulous. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, lots of closet space and seating everywhere. Fooseball and cornhole made for great competitions, and the pool was literally a 5 minute walk from the front door - don’t forget the key!!! :) Plenty of beach towels and a few toys to play in the pool, too. Washer and dryer with soap available, soaps and tp in each bathroom, and kitchen soap and sponge and towels made checking in and getting settled the first night very easy. Shopping is 15-40 minutes away depending on what you are after, and Galveston is a quick 35-40 minute drive away. The only downsides (if you can call them that) were that there wasn’t a vacuum or swiffer to clean up after yourselves a bit (we stayed a week, and brooming helped a bit) and grocery stores were at least 15 minutes away. However, these were very small things that would not discourage us from coming here again. We highly recommend this vacation home if you are in the area.

Nice house, good location

Very nice and spacious house. The house is located near attractions such as Space Center Houston and Kemah Boardwalk. Also convenient to get to Hobby Airport and Galveston. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded promptly to questions.

Very nice visit

We recently had a short visit to the Houston area (several days) and stayed at this property. It is convenient to the Hobby airport, NASA, Kemah, and Galveston just as the description promises. The neighborhood seems to be middle class, and quiet. In terms of the home itself, there are 3 bedrooms upstairs, including the master bedroom. There is a master bathroom, with double sinks. It is spacious, although the shower is relatively small. We did not use the tub. The master bedroom has a bit of storage space in a dresser, but there is no closet. We found the bed to be quite comfortable and large. In addition to the 3 bedrooms and master bath, there is also another full bath upstairs. In between two of the bedrooms, there is an open area with a foosball table. Downstairs, there is a bedroom with a 1/2 bath; a large living room, a large kitchen with table, and a dining room. We did not use the dining room. The kitchen has updated appliances and is well appointed. The living room has a wrap-around couch with a fairly large TV. There are no regular TV channels available, just some streaming options. Next to the couch is a bookcase with a nice selection of options for reading. Since it is winter, the backyard was not much of an option. We only went out there briefly. The ping pong table was covered up and we did not use it. There are a couple of sitting areas. The yard is fenced in. Overall, it is a good choice for a family if you are looking to be in the southeast suburbs of Houston.
