Fun times in the pool!

We had a great stay at this wonderful home in Bacliff. Our dogs had fun in the large yard and we had fun hanging out by the pool. Thanks for letting us stay!

Beautiful property with lots of fun activities

Overall we had a great stay! This property has a lot of amenities. The host is great and it is only 20-25 minutes to Galveston. Would recommend!

Great house!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The neighborhood isn't the greatest but it was perfect for what we needed. The house was spacious and we enjoyed spending our days in the pool. It was a short drive to Kemah and Galveston.

Lea was so attentive to any concerns we had, and was available when we had questions. The house had a pool and a great "party room"...when we weren't siteseeing, we were having fun at the house!

Comfortable with lots to do for the whole family

We recently stayed at this gem for a family weekend. It was well appointed and comfortable, with everything we needed in the kitchen, baths, and bedrooms. The pool and game room were the hit of the weekend. The pool was meticulously clean and the game room had just enough shade and fans to be cool on a hot weekend. The open concept kitchen/dining/living room was a perfect spot for everyone to gather. We loved it! Jake and Ashley were responsive to my questions as we got settled into the house. Everything was even better than the pictures on the site.

Perfect Getaway!

Thanks so much for providing such a warm and wonderful place to stay while in Bacliff/Kemah. The location is convenient to all areas one would like to visit. Only a 30 minute drive to Galveston. Very clean, comfortable and very spacious. Whether you're a kid or an adult, you will LOVE the outdoor area with the pool and the cabana. What more could you ask for?!? It honestly felt like a little home away from home. We cant wait to come back!

A great getaway.

House and pool were great! We used the pool area the most and loved it. One thing would have made it perfect. A bathroom in the pool area. On the up side my legs are much stronger from climbing the 20 stairs to the house every time I had to go.

Great pool house

Property was great! We stayed in the pool & pool house most of the time. Diving board & Volleyball net were used. There was a propane pit . The stairs were a pain but we managed. Parking is awesome. Plenty of space on this property.

Process was easy. Pool was dirty and neighbor was very undesirable. No privacy from neighbors in pool area. The downstairs game room bar area saved the trip.

The property was 100% as advertised. We had a great stay. The kitchen is definitely high end, the pool was clean and warm. The pool house is a big plus. Be aware of the stairs to enter the house and the master bedroom is up a flight of stairs. I would have preferred there to be a door on the master bathroom but it wasn't a problem. I highly recommend the house for those that can navigate the stairs.

Great Vacation!!!

We were looking for a vacation rental that was private due to the pandemic and this hit every need and want. The property manager was very nice and easy to get in contact with. The house is beautiful and very tidy. The cabana made for a very relaxing and fun environment. We had a 2 year old a 7 year old and an 8 year old and not one time did I hear them say they were board. The pool was perfect and the lounge area is very comfortable. Definitely a perfect location for low key family fun and relaxation. I would highly recommend this rental and will definitely be returning.

Beautiful vacation home!

We had a great week at this beautiful house. It is just as described but pictures don’t do it justice. We all enjoyed the pool and game room. The owner was very easy to contact and quick response. We had one minor issue with the upstairs thermostat going out and it within an hour of contacting the owner, it was resolved. The kitchen is well equipped and plenty of towels and linens were provided. Was a quick drive to Galveston without the high cost of staying in Galveston. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Lea for a wonderful after graduation vacation for our boys!

Beautiful house and pool

Beautiful house, pool, and game room. We never left the property for the 4 days we stayed. Bring your own propane tank or plan to get the ones on site refilled for grilling. Plenty of pool floats and toys. House hadn’t been cleaned after guest checked out earlier in the day. We let Leah know and then finished laundry and light cleaning. Owner was very apologetic and refunded our cleaning deposit.

Weekend family getaway

Lea was such an excellent communicator. She is so pleasant as well. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our stay was very comfortable. The house was spacious, immaculate, extremely clean, organized and well stocked with kitchenware, towels, and amenities that you can need and more away from home. It has a pleasant homely atmosphere. The Master suite was romantic with recessed lighting and a plus with the adjacent room for the kids to be in close proximity. Our kids enjoyed the pool. The guys enjoyed the cabana house with the pool table. It was like a man cave equipped with everything to enjoy. We really enjoyed our stay. We would love to come back again.

Perfect Holiday Getaway

We were looking for a place large enough to keep our family entertained while meeting up with old acquaintances and family in the Houston area. The Galveston Bay retreat offered just that. While our stay was to chilly to utilize the pool, the young adults had plenty to do in the added game room. The kitchen was large enough to create a small Thanksgiving feast, and the house was plenty big enough to lounge about the rest of the day. Location was close to Kemah Boardwalk, grocery stores, and other necessities. Upon arrival we found some bonus snacks and drinks to make us feel welcome. Check in was easy, and we were even offered an early check in! The property was clean, secured, and well maintained for the area. You can tell the owners care. We make it back to the Houston area about every 10 years, so hopefully this gem is still around. We would book again.
