“Our room and the dining area & bar were lovely, really nicely decorated, spotless clean, with very friendly and welcoming staff. (My only niggle was the mirror in the darkest part of the room isn’t ideal and the area at the back of the bedrooms a lot of litter which spoils the otherwise beautiful location and property.) Nice quiet location with excellent parking and food delicious. ”

This is a high quality and high standard pub with excellent food, great beers and the accommodation was in well appointed and smart rooms. Service was excellent and a car park on site. The management and owners understand high standards and what hospitality is all about so you won’t be disappointed here.”

“One night stay along with our 15yr old son. All 3 of us stayed in the same room which was very spacious, set out lovely and very clean. We were impressed with the decor and fealt comfortable right from first entering. Yes it could do with a bit of an update but nothing to worry about at all. The management and staff couldn’t be more helpful during our stay right from checking in to having a bite to eat and a few drinks in the bar. “Great location in the city centre. We stayed on a Saturday night and it was quiet, with the pub being up a little side street. Quaint room, comfy bed and very cosy. We chose the Continental breakfast and it was excellent. Would highly recommend staying here.”

“Checked in to the premises for an overnight stay. We were met by a tall young woman who was very welcoming and friendly and I was invited to complete details into a machine, then asked to pay the cost of the accommodation there and then. I explained that I had already done so with Hotels.com.Our room was situated over the bar area. The room was an adequate clean twin bedded space. “Worst experience ever at a hotel. To begin with we were handed the wrong keys for our rooms and given NO keys for entry into the actual building. This absolutely ruined the weekend as we were forced to sleep on the streets. We woke up and returned to the hotel with a cold and was given no apology or explanation just was told the door is now fixed and to turn the handle the other way. Instead of a refund for the card payment we was told that they do not accept payments from here and we must pay,...

“Hotel confortevole, vicino al centro raggiungibile tranquillamente a piedi. Camera antiquata ma accogliente, non c'è servizio di pulizia camere solo cambio asciugamani. Siamo stati avvisati al nostro arrivo della mancanza del servizio di colazione, per il resto è possibile mangiare nel pub sottostante. Peccato gli orari del pub che chiude piuttosto presto.”
