“Check in was not good service. Very short and rude.”

“Hotel had lost power the night before and the check in system was down. Therefore no reservations could be accessed, key cards had to be programmed individually at room door, staff were having to keep paper logs, doors to pools and gym were not able to be accessed by room cards and situation caused a lot of confusion. Pool area was not kept clean (there was a broken glass outside our entire stay), pool towels were never stocked, bathrooms were clogged, trash cans overflowing, and patio cushions...

“The hallways looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. Got to our room and the bed was a fullsized rather than a king like posted on expedia. Called down to front office and they said they dont have any rooms with big sized beds. (This might be more on expedia than the hotel itself) When we got to our room the toilet didn't work, and had to call maintenance within first 5min of getting there. “Our stay was extremely disappointing due to what appeared to be a bed bug issue. After staying in the room, my wife and I developed multiple bites, and we documented the condition with photos and video. We reported the concern and sought medical attention, where the bites were documented. This was especially upsetting because we were traveling for my doctoral graduation ceremony. “The door didn’t properly seal in the top corner, the buildings exterior had random junk and trash all over. The shower was stuck on hot and you couldn’t turn it down. The bed spread had a stain on it. The woman who check us in wasn’t super friendly she almost judged us for booking a room with two twin beds. She mentioned once we were getting two twin beds we said ok, she then felt the need to mention it in a different tone we just said okay.”
