Nuovissima casa sul lago Michigan immersa in una foresta di cedri con splendide vedute dell'isola di Cana dalla riva.

Incastonata in un bellissimo terreno alberato, questa casa unica di 2026 m² ti farà sentire il benvenuto. Con ponti coperti, veranda, camino in pietra naturale a legna con posti a sedere incavati e accenti di cedro naturale con fascino ed eleganza rustici.

Due camere da letto: una al piano inferiore con letto matrimoniale e terrazza privata con vista sul lago Michigan. Il secondo al piano superiore con un letto king size. La camera da letto al primo piano si apre su un ponte privato con splendida vista sul lago Michigan.

La grande sala ha enormi finestre panoramiche che si affacciano sul lago e una porta panoramica che conduce dalla grande sala al ponte schermo coperto. Un comodissimo divano letto king size e poltrone si trovano nella grande sala per approfittare della vista e godersi la TV e il lettore BluRay. C'è anche un tavolo da gioco in questa stanza, una varietà di giochi da tavolo, film e libri sono disponibili per l'uso. La grande sala ha anche un camino a legna con posti a sedere affondati.

Affacciato sulla grande sala c'è un soppalco con divano letto a una piazza e mezza e posti a sedere che guardano fuori dalle finestre sul lago. Ottimo posto per sedersi, rilassarsi e leggere un libro.

Al largo della grande sala è una sala da pranzo con tavolo da 8 posti a sedere. La sala da pranzo si apre anche sull'area coperta del ponte.

La cucina è completamente attrezzata: frigorifero / congelatore con fabbricatore di ghiaccio, cucina a gas e forno elettrico, forno a microonde e lavastoviglie. Sono forniti caffettiera e altri piccoli elettrodomestici comuni. L'armadio è fornito con articoli tipici di base per il vostro uso.

Ci sono due bagni: il bagno al primo piano ha una vasca / doccia e il bagno al piano superiore una doccia. Vengono forniti asciugamani e salviette, shampoo e sapone da viaggio.

Wonderful stay

Our fifth time staying here - beautiful home and setting in the woods by the lake. As much fun and relaxing to be on the porch and by the lake at the house as it is to explore Door County. Best of both worlds - highly recommended! Very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, and appreciate the responsive hosting.

Magical Door County Retreat!

We absolutely loved our stay in this secluded and well appointed home on the water. The home was so comfortable and we were mesmerized by the sounds of the waves. A perfect getaway for us to enjoy all of the wonderful hiking and trail running that the Door County Parks have to offer. The owners are very responsive and this home is extremely well appointed. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing stay!

This is our 2nd stay here! This home is just so beautiful, impeccibly clean, and stocked with all kinds of things for the kids to do. Also, the owners are quick to respond with questions and provided some great dining recommendations. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again.

Great Weekend!

This is an unbelievable property - from the location to the layout of the house to the amenities, everything was exactly as we wanted it. My husband, BIL, SIL and I stayed at the property over a long weekend, and it was genuinely the best time we’ve ever had away. Just watching the sunrise from our own private beach was enough, but there is so much more here than just a view. We cooked some really delicious food in the kitchen, and enjoyed our meals while surrounded by the woods, and listening to Lake Michigan. In addition, it is really close to Bailey’s Harbor and 20 minutes to Sister Bay. I would recommend this property in a second to anyone looking to get away to Door County.

Great location

This is our third visit to this property and we are never disappointed. The house is always clean and has all the expected amenities. However, what continues to bring us back is the quiet private location where we can sit on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of Lake Michigan.

Great spot on the quiet side of Door County

We were first time visitors to Door County and found this house to be a perfect location. Within a 20 minute drive of Sister Bay, Ephraim, and Egg Harbor, and 10 minutes of Baileys Harbor, the house offers complete serenity but for the lapping of the Lake Michigan waves. The house is steps away from a private, rocky beach, and a short drive from a more sandy, unpopulated public beach with a small parking lot. Cana Island lighthouse is a short walk away, and the lighthouse is visible from the backyard. The house is very well stocked--even including bug spray, which we only needed when hiking trails elsewhere in Door County. The house does not have AC, which we didn't even realize until the last day of our trip, when we got a little warm packing things up for our departure. There is almost always a breeze coming off the lake. No worries here about the pictures not being representative of the house--it's even nicer in person. Baileys Harbor is a charming small town with plenty of eating options. The house wifi is excellent, but once we left the house our Verizon coverage was spotty. Just tell the kids to be brave--the connection is much better as you get closer to town.
