On an 11-mile radius it takes in the market towns of Buxton, Ashbourne and Chesterfield and is in close proximity to Bakewell and Matlock. Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House are both a short drive away and well worth the visit, and the former can also be reached within a very pleasant 40-minute walk.
