“The property is situated in a beauriful remote area, and looks stunning from outside. The reception staff was very smart and helpful, and the room was beautiful. The gym is well equipped, however the sauna did not work and the steam room would benefit from an essential oil smell, rather than musty smell. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, my favourite being the handmade soda bread. Top quality food and perfect service. There are lovely walks around the place and the views are stunning, but...

“The facilities are immaculate. The location is about a 10 minute walk to town center which is not a problem if you are able to walk. We had a car and the parking was perfect. Cara does a wonderful job of keeping in touch with you. We had the double room and if you have large luggage it could be a little tight but we only brought in what we could need for the night. Once again, the room and bathroom were very clean!”

“Right in the middle of Kinsale but without the noise and crowds you would expect. The managers were helpful and proactive a lot time of check in. Fantastic coffee with an easy Nespresso machine plus refrigerator, spa-like towels, lots of outlets and a fan. "This hotel did not live up to expectations. Breakfast was poor—eggs Benedict tasted of vinegar, the hollandaise seemed premade, and there was no mineral water at the buffet. Very cheap approach to breakfast, especially in this hotel category. The rest of the buffet was limited to low-quality cereal and pastries, and the coffee was bitter and undrinkable. Our deluxe room had a squeaky, slippery wooden floor that felt unsafe, and the bed was one of the worst we had in Ireland. The whole place felt outdated and tired. To make matters worse, the photos online seem heavily photoshopped. The hotel looks far better in pictures than it does in reality. For the price, the value just isn’t there. Wouldn’t recommend."
