“We have stayed here before and received the usual warm welcome from the owner. The location is to the east of Carrick town, on a side road set back from the M4. The accommodation is quiet though. Bedrooms are cosy and homely.. A good breakfast in the dining room is ensured. Plenty of safe parking space.”

“Parking was easy as there is a lot. No staff present so get your codes and key early. No restaurant or bar open on site and low grade breakfast presented. Basic accommodation ”

“We loved everything about this Castle Resort! We felt like Royalty staying in this historic castle…. The grounds were immaculately maintained, as were the guest rooms and all interior areas. Dinner was fantastic as was breakfast. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here!”

“Lovely twin room with good shower in ensuite. Excellent kitchen/common room area with lots of cooking options - oven, microwave etc. Sofas for groups to relax. Parking would normally be good but on the Saturday night, the local GAA team were playing and the car park and surrounding streets were rammed. Only disappointment was the check in as no-one from the property was there. We had to phone up the international ( for us) number causing extra expense. It might help future visitors if the...
