We can’t say enough about our experience at the Tarpley Guesthouse. It was super clean, comfortable and porches and pool were great for relaxing! Extra treat were farm eggs and vegetables from their garden. Charlotte is a super host! We plan to come back.

Beautiful cottage and private pool

We loved our stay at Tarpley Guest House! It was a getaway from our stressful life and it was a blast. Charlotte and her husband both were very nice and made us feel very welcomed. I loved the antique details in the cottage. It was extra nice to see the chickens and deers around the house.

Relaxing Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Tarpley. The house was adorable and had everything we needed. The pool was amazing and we could have spent a whole day just floating in the pool. The property was 15 miles from any stores, but that just made us like it more! We would definitely recommend this property to others and would stay there again!!!!

Peaceful getaway

We loved our stay here! The house is beautiful - pictures don’t do it justice. It was immaculately clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The pool has a shade covering which kept it cool and at a perfect temperature for swimming even in the 100+ degree heat. We had a peaceful, relaxing visit, and would love to return. Thank you, Charlotte!

Tarpley Guest House

Charlotte was great at communication, everything was exactly as pictured and described. For us it was close to the three state parks we wanted to visit so the location is great. Mac & Ernie's restaurant featured on Drive-ins, Diners and Dives had great food and was only a 2 minute walk away. Charlotte was a wonderful host and even gave us a dozen farm fresh eggs. Can't say enough about the TGH and we do plan on staying there again. Thank you Charlotte.

Comfort

After traveling from Amarillo to Dallas for a medical appt, we made arrangements for a couple of days in Hill Country just for some downtime. The home was beautiful and comfortable. Everything was inviting, quiet and relaxing. The only thing we were disappointed with was that we could not use the pool (as this was the number one reason for booking.) All in all, it was a trip well worth the time and will most likely book again (only next time make sure the pool is warm enough for use).

This rental was perfect for our weekend away. Cabin is very clean, cozy and inviting. The pool looked so inviting but it was too cold for us to enjoy. Loved seeing the axis deer and chickens wandering in the back yard. Charlene was very quick to respond. Overall an A+ experience!!

Great Weekend Getaway

Adorable, clean and spacious accommodations for two. It is obvious that Charlotte cares about her guests and reflects that in her upkeep of the property. Although we were not able to take advantage of the pool I am sure it is a great amenity during the hot months of the year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
