“Fantastic house in a fantastic location. Have breakfast or dinner on the patio, the sheep down in the meadow and then the amazing view. Everything you need is there in the house and there are excellent restaurants nearby!”

“We felt towels should have been provided as we had travelled from Australia and the last thing you want to do is carry towels We ended up having to buy them unnecessary A hairdryer was also not available Netflix should also be provided The property has everything else required to accommodate our stay”

“Durch die tolle Lage sind die Wege zu den sehenswerten Plätzen nie wirklich weit. Man braucht unbedingt einen PKW, erreicht aber alles schnell und unkompliziert. Das kleine Haus ist gut ausgestattet und bietet für 2 wirklich genau Platz. Jedoch ist es nicht barrierefrei. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr nett, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Die direkte Lage am Wasser ist toll zum Schwimmen und Kanufahren. Eine sehr schöne Gartenankage hat viele gemütliche Sitzecken.”

“The property is beautifully situated on the edge of a large forested area and the views were spectacular. The property was in excellent shape, as described and we had an excellent stay! Be prepared for bit of a drive from town but well worth it - we would stay here again!”

“The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Bar Cillatah was is a wonderful house in a beautiful setting. The house was clean, comfortable and close to the lovely town of Kenmare. Views from the house are amazing. We were able to do day trips from there such as The Ring of Kerry and Kinsale. Jer was an attentive host. We definitely recommend Bar Cillatah!”

“We had a nice stay jn a lovely cottage fitting perfectly into the area. Our hosts had already welcomed us with a fire in the fireplace. It is a very quiet area, perfect for relaxing. Thanks to the spacious outdoor area, the children were able to play freely outside. The house is a bit older and the wooden floors are thin on the wall, but we expected that and it didn't really bother us. We enjoyed our stay.”
