“The property, where do I start?! It was amazing! From the initial walk in it had a wow factor about it, we met James, he was very helpful, with the convenience of being next door if needed. With 3 large bedrooms, one with an en-suite, cupboards and storage space, we had ample space to use. I would highly recommend this cottage, the added extras made the trip too! ”

“The cottage was perfect for our needs and Vicki was a great host. We have a bit of a nervous doggy but Vicki kept her dogs out of the fenced area while we were there so there were no issues there. Loads of beautiful walks in the area, perfect for the doggo! The cottage has a great little kitchen with everything you need and the bedroom and bathroom are excellent.”

“The Mallard Cottage was comfortable throughout and cleanliness exceptional internet access was also excellent the view from our enclosed garden was wonderful the dog enjoyed his many walks around the orchard and adjoining field would highly recommend and hope to return again thank you Ruth and Andrew our friendly hosts”

“Very quiet and quite private, especially as the owners were away. However their lovely friendly cat kept us company. Very good local small supermarket and petrol station within walking distance, also an excellent community cafe (the Market Kitchen). Comfortable bed, and even though the weather was v. hot it was quite cool in the cottage. Plenty of space for two, might have been a bit cramped for a family.”

“The accomodation was exactly as described, and a perfect getaway for me and my family. The property is nestled away in a beautiful part just outside Bristol, making it ideal for us visiting surrounding family. There was a lovely selection of drinks and essentials for our arrival, which took the pressure off. Would definitely recommend eating at Halfway House , and Tesco is a few miles away! Fantastic few days away in a stunning home. Thank you !!”

“The Stable was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Cosy, clean and modern and there was some sloe gin on arrival!One criticism would be the poor water pressure (I know there is not much that can be done unless a booster pump is fitted). This made the shower quite slow and also filling the kettle was slow.The Bluetooth speaker was a good addition and also Effy the very friendly cat!”
