“Amy's place was perfect for us. We have family in the area and enjoy coming back several times a year to visit. It was our first time staying here and we will definitely will be back. The place was immaculate and she had everything we needed for our stay. The location was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the water. ”

“Very nice waterfront place. We had 5 kids with us and they all had a great time playing in the water - thanks for leaving the kayaks and paddle boat! The house was nice and clean. All of the essentials were there for us as well. Town is close too, but not too close. Just a quick 5 min drive. The market is very reasonably priced and there is, of course, a dollar general as well. Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. Just what we needed! Thank you for a vacation to remember!”

“A lovely base camp for our eastern / central UP adventures. The smoke from Canada made for some lovely sunsets. We saw crows, hawks, and eagle, and watched a family of otters swim by. We used the back deck to watch the freighters. Easy access to Brimley state park and Iroquois lighthouse for swimming. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for meals and family time. We arrived during a heat wave and used the portable AC very effectively but the latter half of the week, it was open...

“Every window offers great views, and the deck is perfect for lounging or grilling. The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with a fantastic kitchen, located on a quiet street in a charming village. My only suggestion is to add some summertime views from the house, because a July sunrise is phenomenal. Enjoyed the house and our time in Detour. ”
