Davvero una buona permanenza in questo hotel. Trasporti veramente molto vicini all'hotel. Al compleanno della mia ragazza il personale in modo gentile ci ha offerto una bottiglia di prosecco in camera facendo una sorpresa. Unica pecca la mancanza del Bidet.

Great location.
Recent hotel, GREAT location, close to restaurants and within walking distance from main attractions. Cleaning service should be improved. Breakfast is ok but could be better.

Struttura nuova e ben tenuta, in quartiere molto vivo, con molti ristoranti e negozi. A due minuti a piedi dalla metropolitana Arc de Triomf e a 20 minuti a piedi dalla Rambla. Ottima colazione al settimo piano

Mi è piaciuto un po' tutto, dalla pulizia della stanza alla posizione (vicino alla fermata della metro Arc du Tromf e nel Barri Gotic), dalla cortesia dei ragazzi al rooftop. Colazione abbondante. Ho amato il discorso "adult only" che mi ha permesso di godermi ogni spazio dell'hotel - piscina inclusa - senza il vociare di bambini.

Buona sistemazione
Hotel in ottima posizione per spostarsi a piedi o con la metropolitana anche se ubicato tra alcuni edifici fatiscenti. Vicini vari minimarket e locali. Lavori in corso sulla piazzetta antistante. Camere piccole con poco spazio per riporre i vestiti e senza frigor (macchinette bibite previste ai piani con gettoni). Ben insonorizzate con letto e doccia molto comodi. Arredamento moderno ed essenziale. La colazione e' abbondante e varia ed e' servita all'ultimo piano. La vista, che e' reclamizzata come punto di forza, non e' eccezionale anche se si intravede il tetto di qualche edificio storico, ma prevalentemente vecchi edifici attorno all'hotel. La mini piscina e' piuttosto inutile (solo estetica) e lo spazio all'aperto sul terrazzo e' molto limitato. Anche la reception e' piccola ed essenziale. Il personale alla reception e' stato cortese e un ragazzo dello staff alla colazione molto cordiale. La pulizia giornaliera in stanza non impeccabile. Comodo il deposito bagagli dopo il check out senza sovraprezzo.

We enjoyed our stay in this excellent hotel. It’s clean and fairly basic but well designed and well located. The staff are friendly and efficient and the Metro is nearby. The rooms are comfortable and the en-suite shower is excellent. The pool is little more than a paddling pool but it is located on the top floor outside the bar/breakfast room, which has excellent views and a great buffet breakfast. I’d be happy to go back anytime.

Nice hotel, clean, good breakfast, nice room or tho a bit strange with the shower, you have to push a slide across so no on sees you & then slides back to the sink, not seen anything like it! Well postioned so only a short walk into the town, staff were very nice, luggage storage available, so overall a lovely stay.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in diesem Adult-Hotel. Das Personal ist durchgehend sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Die Dachterrasse, die für Frühstück, abendliche vom Hotel organisierte Veranstaltungen und als Bar oder Aufenthaltsraum genutzt wird, bietet einen phantastischen Blick über die Stadt. Die Zimmer sind ruhig und praktisch gestaltet, haben ein großes bequemes Bett sowie ein Badezimmer mit Blick ins Zimmer, genügend Steckdosen und einem großen Schreibtisch. Das Frühstück ließ kaum Wünsche offen und enthielt täglich auch frische spanische Spezialitäten. Der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet. Bei Reklamationen wurde sofort geholfen. Im Haus gibt es ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Metro sowie Busse sind fußläufig erreichbar. Ein perfekter Ort, um Barcelona zu besuchen. Jederzeit wieder !

This hotel is in a great location in the Born neighborhood. Easy walk to metro, bus and train. Next to a great park. Lots of stores and restaurants within minutes of walking. I did not get breakfast included but paid €16 for breakfast about 3 days. The breakfast was ok but not worth that price as it had limited options and you can easily have breakfast at a nearby hotel for lower cost. There's a great cafe right next to the hotel. The bar staff in the lounge was great. I brought a bottle of wine to them to have them open it and they gave me a bottle opener and glasses to bring to my room. That allowed me to enjoy several bottles of wine in my room during my stay. Front desk staff was also helpful assisting me with questions about how to use transportation to Sitges. Great views on the 7th floor. At night it can be a little noisy but considering it's in a city that should be expected.

It took me an age to pick a hotel in central Barcelona with so many on offer and having no prior experience of the different districts. So glad I picked hotel Rec. In my opinion el Born was the perfect area to stay for exploring the city. The area is absolutely beautiful with multiple dining options. The hotel itself was modern, clean and had a lovely roof terrace to relax and the end of a busy day. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the walking tour of el Born provided by the hotel. It's located right next to cituadella park and is only a 25 min walk to the beach and las ramblas. The tube station and open top bus stop is less than 5mins away for exploring the city further afield.

Unfortunately when we arrived I was told that there were no rooms with double beds available despite the fact that I had specifically requested this. This was a celebratory trip for my partners birthday, and they did not do anything to make it special but I feel that the least they could do would be to meet my request for a double bed. On top of that, the room was nice but I felt let down by the balcony, not only was there no view or separation from the neighbouring balconies, there were no chairs or loungers to enjoy the balcony, and smoking was not permitted, so I don’t really understand the purpose of the balconies? Furthermore, the pool was not available for use, which we felt was a massive let down as we spent a lot more money on this hotel as opposed to a simple cheaper hotel, primarily for the pool. Yet the worst part is, I noticed several silver fish on the bathroom floor. Just not good enough for the price unfortunately and I wish it could have been more special for my partner.

The whole region need the remaining water for necessary things, and the Government itself does not allow us to spend it on the pools, as there's much important things that requiere waterClosing the pool it's not a decision or a choice for the hotel, it comes directly from the GovernmentWe do apologize if we didn't reached your expectations, but there's certain things that are out of our controlBest Regards

This was such a unique place to stay, and within walking distance of a beautiful park and the city zoo. It was also walking distance from explore catalunya, which is where we booked a tour. We loved the restaurant on the top floor that allowed us a beautiful view as we ate breakfast. It was so beautiful and modern for the price. This is also in a district with about a million food options within walking distance. If we ever go back to Barcelona I would not hesitate to book here again.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt. Vieles ist sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Frühstücksbuffet ist in Ordnung, die Zimmer sind schön und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Umgebung.

Das Hotel liegt optimal in Barcelona. Direkt am Arc de Triumph und einem schönen Park. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und man nimmt es im 7. Stock mit einem phantastischen Blick über Barcelona ein.

The hotel is in a lovely area, really convenient and great bars and restaurants nearby. The majority of the staff at the hotel are lovely, very kind. Sadly the person who checked me in wasn’t very welcoming, didn’t really explain much to me but I overheard the other receptionist explaining it all to another guest. The rooms are a bit worn. It’s a polished concrete floor but the skirting was a bit rotten, as was a bit around the door. I noticed a few ants every day crawling around. It wasn’t off putting, you can’t help insects, but they were coming in and out from the wall where there were gaps. Breakfast was €16 each a day. I had it once and the selection was okay but nothing special. The view from here is lovely, and it’s meant to have a swimming pool, but due to government policy, it’s closed. The bed in the room was absolutely huge and very comfortable, with plenty of pillows. The room has a strange feature where the shower can be seen from the bedroom, but if you don’t like it, you can push the mirror (which is on rails) from the bathroom to cover it to give you some privacy from whoever you’re sharing with. Sadly, the mirror was very difficult to push when I tried and I couldn’t. The room is advertised as soundproof, yet it’s really not. You can hear the toilet from above, and noise The curtains are blackout, but don’t go to the edge of the wall so you’re woken up by sunlight. Would stay again, great location and room is very good for the price.

Not sure how this hotel has such good reviews. The one good thing is its location; about 25-30mins walk to everything and trains nearby. Now for the bad: NOT soundproof in the slightest; heard everything from the noise outside to the plumbing when someone flushed the toilet or took a shower. The floor was covered in hair when we arrived and 3 pillows had stains on them. The one day we got breakfast, we assumed housekeeping would take the tray when they cleaned the room, but nope 10 hours later, the half eaten food was still there. We also ran out of toilet paper and they never restocked. Definitely wouldn’t recommend for the price per night.
