The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to to our new apartment! Our 4 bedrooms 4.5 bathrooms is located in the heart of the city within the Golden Square of the Eixample neighborhood. Walking distance to Plaça de Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia, and Paseo Sant Joan, the main avenues and shopping streets in town!
The apartment has a beautiful and very quiet private terrace to enjoy some sun during the day or enjoy dinner under the stars, also great views towards Basilica de la Concepción.
The Space:
Welcome to our 175m2 located in a historical Catalan building, the ideal place to stay for and unforgettable and true local experience. Located in one of the most beautiful and exclusive areas of the city, the Golden Square of the Eixample neighborhood, and just a couple minutes walking from Paseo de Gracia and Paseo San Joan, two of the main avenues.
This large and modern apartment has everything to make your stay in Barcelona perfect!
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.
APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:
Inside the apartment you will feel very soon at home and you will be amazed by the big terrace and beautiful decoration. It combines modern elements and nice classical details that a true gem of the Catalan architecture.
The unit features at its core a very large and modern kitchen with a large table ideal for groups and large families. On one side we have two of the bedrooms facing Bruc street and with two small private balconies, and on the other side and with access to a sunny and private terrace the other two bedrooms. Find on the listing pictures a floor-plan of the apartment, please take into account that the living room area has been converted into a 4th bedroom!
In order to access the private terrace, the access is through one of the rooms.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 8 people distributed in 4 bedrooms, each of them with AC / heating, storage space and an ensuite Bathroom:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed - access to terrace
- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed - access to terrace
- Bedroom 3: 2 Single beds - private balcony
- Bedroom 4: 2 Single beds - private balcony

The Neighborhood:
The Eixample district not only is the most iconic in Barcelona, it’s also the most diverse in terms of shopping, restaurants and nightlife. The gridlike layout is the symbol of the sunny and modern Barcelona we know today.
Eixample, which translates as ""extension"" in recognition of its status as the newer part of the city, is a large area north of Plaça de Catalunya spreading left and right of Passeig de Gràcia. The area is indeed an extension to the city that benefits greatly from its ingenious urban planning at the hands of Catalan engineer Ildefons Cerdà in the 1850s. Cerdà had a fondness for straight lines. Therefore, the whole area is set out in a grid with each block having an inner courtyard. This means that it is hard to get lost in Eixample, and moreover, easy to find places.
Nowadays Eixample is famous for being home to the majority of Barcelona's Art Nouveau masterpieces, and a high-class residential and shopping area. The Eixample is one of the most dynamic and comfortable areas to live in Barcelona, mainly because there’s always a restaurant, shop, supermarket or bar at walking distance.

- Passeig de Gracia/ Casa Batlló: 450 m (5 min. walking distance)
- Plaza España: 3 km ( 6 metro stops L3 from Passeig de Gracia)
- Sagrada Familia: 1.3 km (15 min. walking distance/ 1 metro stops L5 from Verdaguer)
- Barceloneta Beach Area: 2.2 km (30 min. walking distance/ 4 metro stops L4 from Girona)
When arriving to Barcelona by plane (Airport BCN), the easiest and most convenient way is to take a taxi from the airport. Another option is to take the Aerobus to Plaza Catalunya and walk to the apartment from there.
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Great location
Great rental. Convenient to public transport and restaurants. Would stay here again when in Barcelona. Clothes dryer was not the best, but that was the only issue we faced.

Be Careful
The property management is not good. Be careful, the check in time is 5pm and they are completely inflexible. While there, the apartment got broken into and we were robbed. We had to leave and find a hotel and they told us to take it up with the police and couldn’t care less. Didn’t even refund the unused time.

The total disappointment!
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The apartment was extremely old and worn down far from what was shown in the listing photos. At night, we could hear what sounded like mice moving around, which made it difficult to sleep. On top of that, there were small lizards hanging around the apartment, and I even had to kill one, which was very unsettling (attached a picture!). The kitchen has rotten and full of mold drawer. The elevator in the building was not working half the time we were there, and we had to carry heavy luggage down multiple flights of stairs in a rush to make our flight something that should’ve been disclosed in advance.Overall, the place did not feel clean or comfortable, and I wouldn’t recommend this property to other travelers.

Great location with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms!
Great location to walk to things and the trains. Arrival access is a bit challenging if you can't get the app to work on your cell phone. Kitchen was adequate but no dish towels to be found. Also, the apartment does not have a living area, except for the outdoor patio in the back off of the master bedroom. AC in every bedroom, although we did not need it. Showers worked great, although tiny soap bars were sub-optimal. washer/dryer is a plus and worked well. Church bells behind the unit do go off very often and are loud. Seemed to stop around 8:30pm. 2 flights of stairs to get up to the unit. Property mgmt. company is available but seemed to push all communication to their webserver or What's app. Certainly not "in-person support" All in all, a pleasant stay.

Adult Family Get-Away We All Give High Ratings!
Communication with Adam and the Collection Barcelona team was excellent from the very beginning!The arrival access was challenging for us; the app wasn't working for us, but once we got inside and set up, the app worked fine for getting into the apt without keys. Two sets of actual keys for those who like a more old fashioned way of entry were inside the apt. If you use the keys, you can take the elevator, which literally opened into the kitchen. In using the app, that only allowed using the stairs. 4 bedrooms and 4 &1/2 baths was really nice. There was no area for us all to congregate except the kitchen, or balcony off the back bedrooms. Since we only needed 3 of the 4 bedrooms, we made one bedroom into a gathering place that extended onto the balcony, which was a perfect solution. There are only 5 chairs in kitchen, so had to bring a chair in from balcony to eat in kitchen for 6 of us. Made breakfast there each day. From other reviews, I knew to bring dish towels and lg bars of soap. We did get a small starter set of dish liquid, pod and one dish rag, sponge. Could use more trash bags. A Guest Handbook would be helpful. Only one towel was given to each of us, so we did all the towels 1/2 way through our week. We loved the hot water showers and shower option heads. Heating/cooling elements in each rm worked well. Floors were beautiful, and prints on walls attractive. Location was Perfect! Close to everything. Safe! Would def recommend this apt to others!
