Mountain View Lodge si trova sul bordo occidentale della suggestiva Texas Hill Country, offre una vista spettacolare e tramonti - grande per le riunioni grandi o piccole. Questo, a 2 piani (2.500 m²) lodge moderno è lungo cristallino, sorgivi Pulliam creek (Middle Prong del fiume Nueces), che è l'ideale per il nuoto, tubi, e lo snorkeling. Un buco di 5 ft profonda nuoto è al lodge. Nelle vicinanze si trova una grande sorgente naturale.

Il Lodge si trova in alto sopra il torrente con una splendida, vista panoramica sulle montagne. La zona è Nueces Canyon, la patria di molte specie di uccelli e altri animali selvatici. Il Lodge si trova a 6 km a nord di Camp Wood e 28 km a ovest di Leakey, nei pressi di Barksdale, in un ranch 23 acri.

Ci sono ampie zone soggiorno al piano di sopra e di sotto, con un arredamento sud-ovest. La zona giorno principale è al piano superiore, che comprende una grande cucina / sala da pranzo, un soggiorno e due camere da letto. Al piano inferiore è una zona di intrattenimento e più camere da letto.

Alloggi: piano superiore (zona giorno principale) dispone di 2 camere da letto con letti king-size da 4 persone. Al piano inferiore sono alloggi ricreative e posti letto per 8 persone. Ogni livello ha un camino e un bagno completo.

Grandi ponti su entrambi i livelli offrono maestose vedute di campagna collina e un ambiente confortevole per il relax. La cucina completamente attrezzata con forno a microonde e lavastoviglie. Il ponte al piano inferiore comprende un barbecue per cucinare all'aperto. Anche al piano di sotto sono una lavatrice e asciugatrice.

Condizioni meteorologiche: Non è solo l'estate che è grande nella Hill Country. Autunno, primavera, e anche l'inverno sono alcuni dei più bei giorni del tempo. La fonte d'acqua per il Lodge è da un pozzo attinto la vicina falda acquifera primavera - un trattamento extra. E 'elaborato attraverso un addolcitore solo per rimuovere la durezza ed è davvero grande qualità dell'acqua - classico Hill Country.

Sunmer Vacation

Wonderful house. Lots of room and comfortable. Peaceful, loved watching the birds especially all the hummingbirds. Had a great time finding and feeding Mr. Donkey. Enjoyed swimming, fishing, and rock hunting. Will try to book this place again!

Soooo relaxing

This lodge is tucked away at the end of a long road and is so nice. It’s very quiet and relaxing. We love sitting out on the decks and watching the many types of birds. The river is just down the hill and it is beautiful.

Best place Ever

I can’t say enough amazing things about this rental property! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners truly care about their guests and have put so much thought into every detail. They’ve anticipated every need we might have during our stay, and I was blown away by how everything was perfectly labeled—right when I had a question, there was the answer, ready to go! The variety of river shoes was fantastic, and the owner was super responsive, making our experience even more enjoyable. For families, this place is a dream come true! With baby gates, high chairs, pack n play, and adorable kid plates and cups, they’ve got everything covered for little ones. And the location? Absolutely unbeatable! The river is breathtakingly beautiful—crystal clear waters where little kids can splash around safely, and deeper areas for the brave to dive into. Every moment spent here felt like pure joy! Watching the birds while we ate, thanks to the bird feed they provided, was such a delightful bonus for the kids. If you’re looking for the perfect family getaway, look no further! This place is an absolute gem, and I can’t recommend it enough!

Amazing beauty and quiet

Loved our month long stay. Everything you need and tons of room both inside and out. Fun feeding the birds, goats and donkey. Secluded, so stock up on your groceries on the way in. Would stay again in a heartbeat

Everything wes excellent!! The house is cozy and roomy at the same time. We took 9 people, and everyone had places to sit around the table and bar. The kitchen was well stocked. The view is absolutely amazing!! We even enjoyed the bird feeders, and several varieties of birds. We LOVED the stay!!

Perfect for River Fun

We had a great stay at Mountain River Lodge. We celebrated our friends 40th birthday and the 4th of July. The space was perfect for our group and the river was fantastic! Would definitely return again!

Great Getaway

The host provided our family with a seculded getaway that perfectly met our every need. We have been enjoying Moutain View Lodge for over 10 years. My grandchildren consider our annual trip to Barksdale in early June as the official start to summer vacation.

Incredible as Always

This was our 4th time staying at the Mountain View Lodge. Each time our family has grown more and more!!! We have loved making family memories over the past 10 years here! The house is immaculate and homey. The view is 1 in a million from TV e house. And my personal favorite is the view from the swimming hole looking toward the hills in the distance. (I took some pictures this time to print out and display in my home to remember one of my favorite views in the world!) My entire family (12 of us!) ranging from 1 year old to almost 60- all enjoyed cooking on the barbeque pit, swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing in the swimming hole for about 10 hours a day! And hiking down the river for even more exploration. The home itself has everything you could possible need. We cooked and ate all our meals there and were completely set at all times. All the cousins walked to feed the goats every evening and had the time of their lives. My father in law and I enjoyed providing birdseed for the birds and birdwatching with our coffee each morning We hope to continue visiting this house for years to come.

The perfect place to relax!

We drove in and never started our cars until our departure 3 days later! Headed down to the incredible clear waters of the river EVERYDAY! Just a simple, majestic, getaway to unwind. The owners really do an outstanding job of equipping the house with necessities. This trip was a blessing, full of great memories, and we look forward to coming back!

Family Retreat

Lodge is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Furnishings are well done and furniture is comfortable (chairs/sofas/beds). Everything you may need or think you need is available to you at lodge. Just bring your food and refreshments and the lodge provides nearly everything else you may need. Beautiful views, wonderful spring to swim in, and owner is very helpful and attentive with any questions or concerns you may have. Would stay again...will stay again..and you should too...
