“We’ve been here twice now (this is our second year) and I don’t really think there’s anywhere else I’d stay. It’s located perfectly between Windermere (for the station) and Bowness and the lake if you want to have a quick nip down. Also well connected to the buses if you want to explore more and didn’t drive down. The staff are incredible - you’re really taken care of well - check in is later, but they’ll gladly keep your bags and take them up to your room if you arrive earlier by train, and...
