The stairs are wooden, so it was noisy at night when other visitors came in. The doors do not close softly, so this was noisy until midnight. Free parking with plenty of spaces available was very helpful, as parking in the area is residential. Room was compact (as advised in advert) but limited hanging space. Tea, coffee, milk and loo paper not replenished daily. The toilet was very old fashioned, compared to the rest of the room and bathroom which were more contemporary in style. The toilet was difficult to get into and didn't have a soft close lid. The bed was quite firm but large and comfortable. Holiday Inn Express Barrow-in-Furness by IHG
“Overall, a pleasant stay, although there were a few areas that could certainly be improved. Parking was convenient, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the shower was very good. The bed was also comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, particularly the carpet, which was covered in stains. This gave the room a tired and poorly maintained appearance and certainly detracted from the overall experience. Another disappointment was the lack...

“Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark.”
