“I stayed there for my nephew’s Navy basic training graduation. I’d highly recommend staying here if you were in the area. Very clean room, nice amenities and near numerous places to eat.”

“Rooms are small with no closets, but with coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. Hotel was renovated last year and rooms and common areas were extremely clean. Staff was very friendly. Full hot continental breakfast included coffee, apple and orange juice, oatmeal packets, cereal, donuts, eggs, sausage, pancakes, milk, fresh fruit, bagels, toast and more. Wifi was free and signal strong on first floor where we stayed. Parking is free and plentiful.”

“Convenient place to stay near Lake Forest and family. Like the staff and cleanliness. Dislike the dark room and inconsistent refilling of coffee supplies plus the coffee is pretty low quality overall.”

“I liked the price but it’s old, you could hear the people upstairs loudly and the bathroom was very small. It doesn’t have breakfast at all. It serves the purpose of providing a roof over your head but don’t expect too much else. I give it 2.5 stars out of 5.”

“Family of 4 with 2 young kids. We stayed for 2 nights for an event locally. Overwhelming pros: Easy location to get anywhere around Chicagoland and suburbs. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; I needed some stuff printed at 2am and during the day - done with no hesitation. Immaculate rooms with clean linens and prompt housekeeping. Top place! Also, easy, free parking. Got some Werther’s original toffees in the lobby to keep the kids amused. Weak cons: Toll to get on highway but not the...
