Hotel a Bastrop

“The bed was hard as a board not sure if it was a box spring or a mattress, the bedding had holes and was of inferior quality to say the least, I was afraid to use the bath tub/shower for fear that I would come out dirtier than before I used it. The tv setup was different having to use 2 remote controls to navigate it. But the staff was very friendly.”

“I guess for 60 it'll due but stairs were coved in garbage and bro k e . not much to say anther room. it need an update for sure. are sheet had crumbs in them”

“The air conditioning worked great and there was plenty of room to park my RV. There was plenty of TV channels.”

“By far the best Hilton I've ever stayed in. The heirloom restaurant is probably some of the best food I've had in my life. Would stay here again without hesitation and would encourage folks to do the same”

“There are no amenities, pool not open, glass pipes dropped on ground in front of door. Glass shards in the parking lot and in breezeways, no towels, not good lighting, not a safe place. Staff was horrible and should not be dealing with the public.”

“The staff was very friendly upon arrival. Odd that there are no ones in the room to call the front desk. There aren’t any blow dryers in the room so I asked house keeping. They got me on but it was 45 minutes later. My hair was already dry by then. (This makes for a bad hair day):(. I could tell they had cleaned but it looked like they just mopped anything on the floor to a corner. The sofa in our room was so stained I would not sit on it for anything. Gross. I did sleep well in the bed...

“Checked in around 7:30 pm. Room had an odd smell but I figured it may just be due to the humidity in Louisiana. Turned on AC thinking it may help. Went back out and returned later and it seemed a bit more tolerable. Went to bed and the smell seemed to get stronger again. Woke up through out the night from the smell. Had been traveling all day so I was too tired to deal with it right away. Went to front desk in the morning asking for a new room because of the smell. Explained it was possible...

“I made my reservations on June 16 for a June 26 arrival. On my arrival, I find that the elevator is not working and has been out for a month. I should have been told this upfront so I would have had the choice of choosing another hotel if no room was available on the first floor. I have mobility issues and stairs are a real issue for me. The clerk was extremely apologetic and after checking with maid service, she said if I could wait a half hour or so, she could get me on the second floor...
