Tiger's Den chalet - quiet mountain comfort!

Tiger's Den is a rustic mountain chalet in a quiet, woodland setting with good wintertime views of Great North Mountain. The great room's cathedral ceilings, wall of windows, and large deck connects guests with the outdoors! Access to the chalet includes four steps up to entry level from the driveway. Located within the Bryce Resort mountain community, it's a 2.1 mile drive to the Resort's main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and a short 0.5 mile drive to the Community Store and other activities in Basye.

Please review the listing photos carefully. This chalet is rustic and cozy with everything you'll need for your mountain getaway. It's a perfect home for one or two vacationing families and groups of friends that value tranquility while still being close to the Resort's many activities.

FEATURES & AMENITIES:
The open great room includes a dining area and living room with a wood-burning fireplace. The great room opens through two huge sliding glass doors to the deck, complete with chairs and small table for gathering and a Char-grill charcoal grill. The galley kitchen, adjacent to the great room, has wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. It includes basic cookware, tableware, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind). The dining area seats six. A full bathroom is just steps off the great room. The main floor also hosts the primary bedroom with a king bed. The upstairs loft looks over the great room hosts two additional bedrooms, one with two twin beds and the other with a full-size bed, plus another half bathroom. The finished basement is perfect for kids and adults with a separate living area with a TV, walk-out access to the lower deck, a bedroom with queen bed, extra full-size sleeping space, a full bathroom, and laundry room with washer & dryer. Sleeps 9-10 comfortably.

The chalet is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad. We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.

The great room and basement living areas have cable TV. WiFi internet is 200+mbps, which is plenty for working, video conferencing, web browsing, streaming and gaming. There's a DVD player for movie night and a wide selection of DVDs (free to borrow during your stay) at our Reception Office.

This is a Self-Check-In unit. You'll receive check-in instructions seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property's address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, WiFi instructions, and other important information.

This property has a charcoal grill and wood-burning fireplaces. Firewood is not provided, but available for purchase at the kiosk in our office parking lot (2565 Orkney Grade) or at the Community Store.

Guests have unlimited access to the Bryce Mountain Escapes pool at our reception office (2565 Orkney Grade). The Bryce Resort pool is reserved for Bryce Resort member use only. See pictures of our pool in the unit's listing gallery. It's private, rarely crowded, and open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.

Bryce Resort offers many activities and features throughout the year, including snow skiing/boarding, snow tubing, golf, Lake Laura swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and kayaking, and a thrill-filled lift-accessed mountain bike park.
