  • Welcome to this classic cottage retreat in the heart of Baton Rouge. This cozy and character-filled home offers the perfect blend of charm and location. Entire House with several parking spots for off street secure parking.

    Enjoy LSU gameday in an ideal location where you are 5 minutes from campus and can celebrate the victories at local favorite bar and restaurants then walk home.

    This house boasts 2 inviting bedrooms with 1 queen bed, 1 full bed 1 single day bed and one futon. Brand new queen hybrid memory foam mattress in the main bedroom! The cozy living room features a couch and comfy futon for extra guests. With amenities like central AC and heating, ceiling fans in every bedroom, stainless steel appliances and hard wood floors throughout the living area. This is a full house with anything you may need including a hair dryer, coffee, bottled waters to make guests feel right at home. The 2 bathrooms offer a shower and bathtub for relaxation after a day of exploring in which ever way you prefer the best.

    Spacious kitchen to enjoy cooking if so desired. Smart lock for easy access and expedited smooth check in and out process. Enjoy your time in Baton Rouge at our delightful house.

    One block away from a local coffee shop and within easy walking distance to the vibrant Perkins Overpass corridor, known for its great restaurants and laid-back vibe.

Wonderful stay! The property is in a perfect location, close to LSU as well as plenty of shops and restaurants. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We especially appreciated the convenient parking in the back with rear home access. Overall, a great experience — we would gladly stay here again.

The house matched the photos and was overall fairly clean, though there is room for improvement. However, we were very disappointed with how the owner handled the issue we raised regarding the toilet bowls upon arrival. The toilet bowls were visibly dirty, and when we informed the owner, he stated the home had been cleaned about three weeks prior and had not been rented since. He also admitted he had not personally inspected the toilet bowls. At that time, there was no apology or real effort to address the concern. After I later sent photos showing the condition of the toilets, I did not receive a response until the following day. The owner insisted the underside of the toilet seat was simply old and stained due to age. While he eventually apologized for the inconvenience, the issue itself was never properly addressed. Since we were in town for my daughter’s graduation, we did not want to spend our special weekend arguing over the situation, especially after being told we would need to pay extra for additional cleaning. Instead, we purchased cleaning supplies ourselves and cleaned the toilet bowls, which was unpleasant and frustrating. Some of the towels also appeared dirty. I will be attaching before-and-after photos showing the condition upon arrival and after we cleaned them ourselves. We had no issue with the house being older — old is one thing, but cleanliness is another. Our biggest disappointment was not only the condition itself, but how the concern was handled.

Stayed in this cute house for an LSU home game. Conveniently located near campus. Perfect location, safe neighborhood, lots of nearby local restaurants and shopping. Family-friendly. Host is very responsive and helpful. Clean.
