Treated us to pizza on first day and delicious croissants during the week. He didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, but we managed with languages app and sign language! His sister made a pie to welcome us, and they gave limoncello made with Sicilian lemons as well. Would recommend a car or similar transport. "We arrived mid October in the middle of a huge storm. The effect of the storm caused a massive dump of seaweed right up to the property and those adjacent.
