Canal Front Home w/ Fishing Pier & Game Room

Spacious, beachy, and full of natural light, this home has everything you need for your next getaway!

As you enter Christal's Castaway you'll find an open concept living, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. You and your guests will have ample space to prepare meals and enjoy time together making memories! The living room has an oversized sofa, offering comfy seating for those looking to relax indoors.

Downstairs you will find a large game room/bar offering tons of room for entertaining and playing games. The house comfortably sleeps 10 guest. The master bedroom features a king size bed, the second bedroom offers two twins and a full size bed. The third room (downstairs) offers a queen size murphy bed, pullout sofa bed, along with two queen air mattresses for your use. There are two bathrooms. One located upstairs and one downstairs, offering a convenience no matter where you are.

The lighted fishing dock provides excellent fishing for trout, redfish and flounder! Be sure to bring chicken necks for the provided crab traps! Sip on a cool beverage and enjoy the evening breeze while grilling the day's catch. Relax in one of the many seating areas.

Located just minutes from the beach, East and West Matagorda Bay and the Intercoastal Waterway! If you're bringing your own boat there are several public boat ramps close to the property.

Best House Yet!

We stay in Sargent every 4th of July weekend, and this is by far the best VRBO we have ever rented. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Property management was great and super helpful with any questions we had. Will be coming back for sure!

Nice place bad timing.

Would stay here again, nice place. Canals a bit shallow and we managed to stay during a Northern gale that caused extremely low tide. Our timing sucked for fishing but we did get some nice blue crab.

Long weekend of relaxing.

We had a great time. House was super clean, had everything we needed. Plenty of room to spread out. Didn’t watch TV but they had a TV in every room (4). Very comfortable outdoor seating. Comfortable Beds and living room furniture. Will definitely return.

Weekend at Sargent

We needed a place to stay in Sargent while we spread my sons ashes at the beach. There were a lot of us and the house accommodated us well. Everything you might need was there. If I had any complaints it would be that the kitchen light was not in the kitchen and we were lost and could not find it. We cooked in the dark for both nights. One of us discovered it late Saturday night after the kitchen was already cleaned up from dinner. Oh well. Thank you for a night weekend stay.

Great Time in Sargent

We had a great time at this house. It had everything you need for a great stay. The pics were right on point and sitting by the canal at night was so much fun. I definitely recommend.

Nice place !

We had a great time. The only downside is the internet speeds, its satellite and just barely useable. You may look into Nextlink, they can put a tower out there to serve the entire area with wireless cellular internet.
