Fisherman/woman's Dream, Waterfront 1Bdrm/1Bath Home

Welcome to Salty Livin'!

This home is perfect for a couple of fishermen/women or a small family to visit Sargent here on the Texas Coast. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath home has a full kitchen, fishing pier and an amazing top deck to enjoy those lovely sunrises and sunsets that Sargent has to offer!

The bedroom has a queen bed with an attached full bathroom. The living room has a full size sofa bed, as well as a twin size air mattress for guest use. Great for 2 adults or 2 adults and 2 children!

Fish from the pier or head on over to Sargent Beach, that is less than 5 minutes away. There is also hookups and space for a small RV under the covered driveway, for a small extra fee. Feel free to bring your boat too, we have a spot to tie it up at the pier!

Please note that swimming in the canal is not permitted, for safety purposes. If you'd like to swim, Sargent Beach is just down the street!

It was very relaxing and I like to fish, so that could have been better but that's why they call it fishing not catching. Yes we enjoyed the area and will be going back, very friendly and helpful people in the area and the host was very nice and helpful.

What a cute little property! This is a great spot for a weekend getaway or a long stay. The kitchen is well stocked. There is comfortable living area. A very comfy bed and large shower. There is a big screened in porch and the grill outside held perfect temp. We had a great time and look yo book again.

Comfortable and neat

My college age son and I like to fish the Texas bays. It was our first time to East Matagorda Bay and Sargent. The town is quaint and quiet. The house worked out just dandy for what we needed. Clean, comfortable and cold A/C. Had outside power to charge the boat battery and 3 water sources to rinse things. We cooked and grilled our catches. The boat launch was only 5-10 minutes away.

Great Labor Day Weekend!

The house was perfect for me! I loved the decor, it put me in the best mood right away! Nothing fancy but everything I needed was there. There were a few cobwebs I noticed in the kitchen and the grill could use a good cleaning and paint job. It would also be nice to have a few potholders in the kitchen. Other than that, everything met my expectations! The weather cooperated well with a nice breeze every day. It did rain most of the morning on Monday, but that was check out day. The mosquitos weren’t bad until it started to rain. I caught a few small fish and a couple of crabs. Fishing not as good as I hoped, but I will definitely be coming back to try again!

Nice little stay

Weather was bad so we had to stay inside most of the time. But the canal made it easy for the boat. The property manager gave good suggestions on restaurants. The little house was nice and clean and perfect for two people.

Tranquility

It was so relaxing staying here time flew. Hopefully we can come back when it summer we enjoyed cool nights but not the kids other than that it's a hidden diamond 💎 .It's a must go to place to get out of the city Life. We give it 5 ✨ stats.
